Honestly as an older gen Z, I’ve honestly seen to many articles about gen z aging badly, a common phrase being they are aging like milk, and all of them are like Botox, vaping and using the wrong skincare, and I sit there thinking, it’s the generation that was raised the most seeing how many people pushing for skincare products and stuff online, seeing people saying wrinkles and crow’s eyes are ugly more often and now the idea is being pushed onto gen alpha kids so much you have the 10 year old Sephora kids, and the worst part they act like it’s the whole generation and that gen z is all teenagers as well not like gen z is reaching their 30s

Nah guys I was in middle school when Obama was elected so by the time I got to high school it was this huge Post-Michelle scene. No sugar, no salt, calorie limitations on portions. We went through a transition where school lunches were eh, and quickly became unbearable. Dead a~ they got rid of chocolate milk on us. Like it was that bad. We still had a rotating selection of meals but it was just somethin else. I woulda killed for an 8 inch cookie.

I'm a cafeteria manager at a school. Let me tell you all the rules and laws we have to come by because of the usda. We have to make sure they have x number of vegetables, fruits, grains..etc. But that's not worse we have a sodium and calorie limit just an example for breakfast it's 600 MG and 500 calories. I understand that seems alot but take into factor low sodium sausage is 1/2 that. Then we need to make sure they get the requirements of grain, fruit and dairy. So most of the time I have to schedule around 1 piece of sausage for the whole week. It's not that the schools want to give out crappy food we are forced to. In 2026 the counts are going down. Michelle made it worse.
