A good tip for the nose putty, put some makeup remover on your fingers and tool. It stops it sticking and you can blend it seamlessly into the skin

Using fishnet to create snake skin effect is not a new concept... Mykie did not invent it and many people on youtube has done it before her as well.... as much as I love her, I find fellow followers of Mykie to be some of the worst... On the plus side, I absolutely love the make up you did...... it looks very clean and in all honesty I much prefer it to all the other hundred something snake skin tutorials out there... will try it out soon........thanks for an awesome video..... :)

I agree, just because the animal is the same and colors are similar doesn't mean it's a ripoff. The techniques and overall orchestration are different. I think it's very classy that she added a shoutout to Mykie's channel in the info.

I'm glad you put the fishnet on your face before doing your eyes. I saw another tutorial where the girl put the net over her face AFTER she had done her eye make up. I would think your method is cleaner. Thanks for sharing! I'm being Medusa this year for Hallowe'en!

Actually, it depends upon what you are doing. Glam and Gore's character was still half human, so she wants the eye shadow bolder

I don't know if anyone has told you yet, but I use cold cream and rub a little on my hand to work with the putty :) It keeps it from sticking to your hands! also, if you apply a little cold cream to your face before the makeup it makes it easier to apply on the face as well. :)

This is a great look! You are so amazing at what you do :) one thing that I find helps when working with the putty is to use a little bit of Vaseline on my fingers (just a really thin layer tho) or some water :)

I am a fan of glam and gore, but I did read the title description and the colours and techniques are similar, however yours did not have the shedding skin element. The snake make up is not new, but yours had dimension and was not just using green and gold and your look was lower (shoulder and neck wise. I am sorry many of the fans of Glam and gore have said some hurtful comments. This was a cool look and I liked how this was more focusing on glam. It is possible to like Glam and Gore and not bully another make up artist.

If you take a little oil on your fingers, soft putty is actually really easy to blend!
