Retics are beautiful, but I would never keep a snake that big for practical reasons, and my own safety. I had a boa constrictor (Boa imperator) for 34 years, and she got to almost 8.5 ft. before she passed on. Big enough for me. Perhaps a dwarf retic would be a cool pet, though. At least when you have monitor lizards to feed, the snake eggs that don't have babies in them won't go to waste. Cool video, and I'm glad you didn't get bitten.

@@tonikimpel7891 Exactly, if he left the eggs with mom, most if not all would die. That's how it is in the wild, they'll lay a clutch but only a few actually hatch. He's making sure as many as possible can hatch.
