For some reason, every time I try to flow the scales onto the snake's surface (top), it inverses the scales onto the inside of the surface (interior of snake). I have tried many things to fix it. Any idea why this happens? Thanks!

425/5000 Hello Chen little curiosity: because when I use the command apply curves the surface of the snake is divided into 5 parts unlike you (yet when I apply the command sweet 1 binary the surface is considered in full ...). Applying the scales on 5 surfaces becomes more complicated than the previous one ... I use Rhino version 5 ... 'Thank you for the fantastic interesting tutorials you offer. Congratulations

It isn't not on my interface. I am using Rhino7. Can you please tell me how to create UV curves like you did? Thank you.

If you don't misunderstand, I will ask you something. Why use rihno instead of using Matrix or gold? Is there a reason? I started learning jewelery design with you. I learned Rihno at first, but later I switched to Matrix Gold. Should I use Matrix Gold or Rihno? What is your advice ? I would be happy if you answer. :)

If you have the budget MatrixGold will be great. I teach the software that is more budget friendly for general public. Since MatrixGold is base on Rhino. All command you learn in my videos can apply to Matrix Gold.

  • @PJChenJewelryDesign

people in industry use Rhino, RhinoGold, Matrix, MatrixGold, 3Design and more. the first 4 are Rhino base and they all share the same commands, however, the prices on RG, M and MG are much higher than Rhino. you can acutally make everything in Rhino only. if you are in jewelry industry and use CAD 8 hours a day. I recommend you use RG, M and MG which will speed up your work pace. but you still need to know rhino fundamental. They all good software.
