If there's one thing that I have learned from these mvs(and the songs themselves!), it's that sometimes, we need a break from reality. But unfortunately, that break does not last forever. Eventually we have to head back home, continue on our goals. But one thing we can do, is wait and see what's next for us, while remembering the past. The counter melody at 2:54 absolutely got me ... again This song may be two years old, but it hits you so hard; every time is the first time. I also only just noticed the level crossing sounds at the end :p nice touch

2:05 to 3:17 is unironically some of the best and most intricate 2d animation I've ever seen on youtube. The use of parallax is second to none (especially in the 3:05 scene), and I love how the animator is still able to have gorgeous and detailed backgrounds compliment that. It's not like the magic is just in the parallax, since there's a beautiful flying scene with dynamic camera movement starting 2:53, where snailchan is animated on threes, the bg on twos, and the gate at the back on ones. Did I mention that the backgrounds are fucking beautiful and feel like the most vivid imagination you'll ever have for a decade? We should be hailing this as indie animation's own beauty and the beast dance scene (unless there's other indie animations that are as impressive)! basically, somon & soresaki __x__ james baxter (handshake ascii emoji)

Everything else i love, but the use of the piano sounds rather tone deaf at times if i'm being honest and it's something you have to work to ignore, if you haven't notice it before.

I can't imagine how painful it must have been to animate this amazingness. This is easily one of the most technically impressive and beautifully stylized animations on KZread.

The genius that went into this song! I love that they added the Japanese railroad crossing sound effect at the end, which was the tempo for the entire song! :) There is so much that I can learn about making music just from listening to Snail's House Music, and just this one song is filled with so much! "Snail's House - Imaginary Express" definitely felt different from other songs from Ujico in the past. There was a softness and fluidity throughout every part that made it feel well-balanced, but it engaged you into the wonder and mystery hidden within. The MV's animation was superb and beautiful, and it made you feel as if you were pulled into Snailchan's Adventure on the Imaginary Express! The simplicity and uniqueness of the art style added so much beauty to the world/universe that Snailchan traversed. Thank you Ujico*/Snail's House! This song is truly something on a whole other level compared to perhaps every other song I've ever listened to. It never fails to make me cry, and it really just makes me feel so much better whenever I'm feeling down. Easily my most fav song of all time, tysm snail's house for composing an absolute masterpiece of a song, as well as somon and soresaki for the amazing mv 💖

This is extremely good! I love the music, it’s so calm but exciting (wonderful is the best way I can describe it actually), it really sounds like imagining your own adventures and exploring them. And the visuals are so pretty, every frame is gorgeous and the entire thing just highlights the music. It’s so great, and I’m glad I can take a ride on this Imaginary Express.
