Snagging Reds in Seward Alaska!
Recently we went on a trip that had better views than it did fishing. It's all about the journey though, isn't it? This was our first time experiencing 'Combat' fishing at it's finest. Shoulder to shoulder casting giant weighted hooks at each other. What could go wrong? While some people had some luck we didn't have much. But what we did have was a great experience that will last a lifetime, and the unmatched views of real Alaska.

I had forgotten how pretty the drive along the Seward highway is. Driving it again last week for the first time in 10 years I couldn't stop looking at all the scenery.

Especially with the snow still on the mountains, I thought about making a video of just the scenery!
We drove that same stretch to Seward. I recognized most of that scenery, which was really cool. That sure was a lot of people out there fishing. Keep practicing up.. I'm expecting you to know what you're doing when I get there next spring.

Indeed, this trip had the most beautiful scenery for a backdrop while fishing that I've ever seen. This was combat fishing for sure. Oh, I'm working on that for sure Rande. All of this is new to me as well.
That time of year! Came over from Curmudge inn AK channel! Always a good time fishing!

Well, it was our first time and I think most of our issues were self imposed. We will be better prepared next time for sure. Already made some needed improvements. I love your swing mill. How do you like it so far?

@alaskacutthecord769 it has been great. The only disadvantage I've seen so far is cutting siding where the large curf wastes a lot of wood. However not having to roll the log all the time makes it worth it
Beautiful scenery...👍👍
