you should have gone to A&E to check for drugs in your system and you should totally contact the restaurant for CCTV it might be a regular costumer that comes and does this to unexpected women!! there are a ton of SICKOS out there! LOVE YOU GUYS BE SAFE

A similar thing happened to my friend at uni however when the got to A&E they just said she was drunk and sent her home with no checks or anything! I feel like with young people they don’t always think about people being spiked they just think we drink too much 🤷🏼‍♀️

You should tell the restaurant and ask them to check their CCTV, it may have been a staff member which could put a lot of girls in danger there in the future!

I’m so glad you’re ok Cinzia! Sophia did a good job. You need to talk to the restaurant to get CCTV of your table the moment you went to the toilet. There are places that have staff who do this also. Also tell the police!!! Maybe check with your doctor your all ok. It’s a mind altering drug.

Have you contacted the restaurant for cctv? I think it’d be good for them to find out who could’ve done it to you as they could be a regular person who goes there to do them kind of things. I’d defo recommend contacting the restaurant - I got spike and it ended up being something to do with a bartender at the bar I was at !!

This is really scary but important message for people

It's so scary being spiked. This happened to me before, my friends all thought I was wasted because I suddenly couldn't speak or stand properly (after 2 drinks) except my brain was fully working, I knew in my mind something was wrong but my body just wasn't co-operating and I couldn't speak I just cried and had to be carried out of the bar and put in a cab. I don't remember anything afterwards but luckily a friend looked after me!

This exact same thing happened to me. I had 2 small drinks and all of a sudden lost full control of my body. My mind was functioning properly, but i couldn't stand or speak. My drink was on a table behind me so sure someone spiked it, but never found out what with. Stay safe everyone

Same - absolutely no memories from when it happened other than when I came to and I remember being so confused and disorientated. I’m so lucky I had a few friends taking care of me. So glad you’re ok! I completely agree as women we should be careful but the main problem is women having their drinks spiked - that’s what needs to stop. People need to be educated on the misogyny that is so deep rooted in our world. We should be able to go out and not have to cover our drinks or worry that we might be spiked.

I'm honestly SHOCKED at the amount of comments of people saying that they had been spiked before. I thought that stuff like this happened very rarely but I'm now on HIGH ALERT! Thank you for this🖤

guys i’m so sorry about the spiking :( Having experienced it before its terrifying. it’s such a shame we have to be on alert even at a relaxing atmosphere. Thank goodness you’re okay.

Girls its so important that you shared this! I always think don't leave your drink unattended in a club etc but you never think about a restaurant or even on a first date. Definitely something we all need to be aware of x

Pls report this to the police as well as obviously contacting the restaurant. There may be several instances that have happened in the same place etc. I’m so glad you had Sophia there to keep you safe 🥺

That’s happened to me before, it’s terrifying! You should call the restaurant up and tell them what happened because the person might do it there again given they didn’t get caught this time. Plus, if you told the waiter you were going to the toilet that’s what they should have been watching for. Make sure the waiters are on high alert now too! Glad you’re okay girls!xxx

Please call and tell the restaurant what happened as they need to be aware. It could have been anyone, a member of staff, a member of the public etc and they may be able to check cctv footage. Glad you both came out OK from it, what a horrible thing to experience xx

Oh Cinz the way you were when you were spiked sounds like exactly what happened to me when I was spiked at uni in my first year at freshers! I had only had a couple drinks, stupidly accepted a drink (at the bar) from a random guy and 5 minutes later couldn't remember anything... just him showing me his car keys!! Thank god a guy I had only met once from my halls saw him dragging me through smokers to the car park and questioned him. It's so horrible we have to stay so aware. He then dumped me on the floor to pass out & throw up all over myself, couldn't speak either! I was tested by uni paramedics and it was date rape drug 🥺

This has happened to me and my friend too when I was younger. We had a much worse outcome unfortunately because we were both spiked, so glad Sophia was there to look out for you. And thank you girls for raising awareness about it! It’s something that happens so often, sadly xxx

Yesss! I got spiked by a bartender at a club once and experienced the same things as you. Literally I fainted in the middle of the club after having TWO drinks. My friends had to carry me out; I was completely unresponsive and the next day could not remember a thing 🥴. I think it’s way more common than we think

I was spiked once by my ex-best friend who took drugs. I literally don't remember a thing from that night and even a year later, I still don't remember a single memory from the 11 hours I was out cold. Being spiked is terrifying and a horrible experience, be safe out there ladies!!!

I got spiked when I was 20 with “friends”. I ended up on a nation wide missing persons list. Luckily I don’t think anything bad happened to me, as I only blacked out for a small portion of it. The damage and stress it caused my family, especially my parents, was horrible. I still blame myself for it. NEVER trust ANYONE with your drink. Never leave it unattended, never accept a drink unless you mixed/poured it yourself or it’s a waiter/waitress/bartender.

This is so important to talk about !!! This has personally happened to myself and a friend luckily it wasn’t at the same time. However it is so scary, never ever leave your drink or accept a drink from someone 😔

Oh Cinzia how scary, this happened to me, I’m sorry this happened to you too. I also cannot recall a single memory from walking into a club, buying a drink at the bar and waking up in the hospital the next morning. Everyone thought I was really drunk, I’d been in the club 5 mins and had bought one drink! I was taken into hospital and my stomach was pumped in the end. They never found what it was. My horrible experience has stayed with me since I was 18, I’m 28 now so I hope you’re okay. Sounds very dramatic but honestly cannot say it enough to young women how important it is to look after your stuff and look out for your girls. Sophia you’re a fantastic friend. Look after yourself girls xxxxx

When I was on holiday in Sunny Beach a few years back we were going into a bar and one of the locals told us men pay waiters/bartenders to spike people there. So so terrifying. I dread to think what could've happened if we hadn't found out before. So glad you're both ok and this convo is deffo a reminder to always be vigilant with your drinks! x

I’m so glad your okay now Cinzia💖 being spiked is one of the scariest things ever!!! I remember I was 18 and I was out with 3 of my friends, it was a busy nightclub and we were all up dancing. I was holding my own cup and I must’ve turned my head for a second and someone slipped something in my drink. One minute I was dancing (sober) as it was my first drink, next minute I didn’t know where I was, my heart was racing, I felt dizzy and I couldn’t feel my legs. I didn’t want to alarm my friends so I sat down. Before I knew it I was getting water splashed over my face and my friend was holding my head up. After that I don’t remember a thing. But I was informed the next day that I eventually made it outside, my friend called my mum who came and picked me up, and I was passed out in the back of the car crying, laughing and asking where I was. I was ill for about 2/3 days afterwards and the worst thing about it was the heart palpitations. Please be careful is scary and as Sophia and Cinzia said, if i was on a first date and this happened, I wouldn’t have known what was happening❤️Xxx

I’m so glad you’re both okay, when I was in uni two of my friends got spiked one by her boss whilst she was at work (she worked in a bar and was having drinks after) and one by the bartender who was working with a group of guys in the club. From the sounds of things it sounds like MDMA because that makes you go all floppy and can cause blips in memory. Stay safe girls x

So scary hearing everyone’s stories of being spiked, i got spiked at a bar before a concert. I don’t remember anything and woke up in sick, apparently I wondered off on my own and was found later in the toilet with no top on, after staff kicked the door down. Got taken by ambulance staff and eventually my friends found me in first aid and had to wheel my to the car and take me home. Stay save everyone so glad You’re okay💖💖

Thank god both of yous are okay! Same thing happened to me when I was on holiday with my boyfriend in Thailand completely shut off couldn’t walk talk the lot, and we didn’t even leave our drinks. Everything that happened to Cinzia happened to me! Absolutely terrifying, and I’ve never felt so ill the next day.
