I don't play the clutch slip game. I wack it open in second gear and leave it on the pipe. If I need to drop speed, I tap the kilk-switch.

I've rode my father and uncles and then I all grew up on dirtbikes and nothing I've ever ridden has even come close to having the raw power of a KTM my uncle had. We are generally a Team Honda family, and all prefer 4 stroke engines, especially since Honda changed the game with the re-engineering of their 4 strokes motors in the last 10 years. (Can't remember the exact year). But my uncle received a fire 🔥 deal on this KTM with a bored out 250 about 10 years ago, which he sold after breaking his neck riding alone 2 or 3 years after purchase. I only weight about 130 back then and from 1st to 4th gear, on that KTM, the front tire would barely touch the ground. That's only if I I leaned almost completely over the handle bars lol, if not for that I would have wheelied until I reached 65-75mph and most likely died lmao. Great times 😂

Their 300 cc TPI engines are pretty wild. They have impressive low end torque and the "fuel injection" makes the fuel consumption quite frugal.

Doing stuff like this on dirtbikes was always my favorite things to do in my younger years. never was one who like jumping much but man I loved to see what hills I was able to climb. never really rode anything but my 94 YZ250 but that thing still runs like a champ to this day. in away it hurts seeing it sitting in my shed doing nothing since my body cant handle doing this shit anymore at 46. Was kind of thinking about making a custom 2 stroke bobber out of it but just a thought. It would at least get riden if I did make a bobber out of it. also willing to bet it woukd piss off the neighbors. Lol
