Ihad 3 kids 2 boys and a daughter I only have my first born daughter left.broke me in half June 2011 my baby boy 21 found dead from sickle cell as I was napping too in the next room my oldest February 2023.never thought I d make it through but here I am still standing trust he will fix your broken weary heart and you will find more and more loving bittersweet moments to smile and rejoice as you celebrate the memories 😢 of her life.will remember you in prayer and I thank the Lord for the testimony he is gonna give you. I need your more than ever to show up and restore the Faith in me. My son was shot over 6 times and resuscitated 2 times and left to die on the streets. He said he fell down and was crawling and trying to get up that was the last thing he remember. He said he loves the Song We Fall Down and we get Up. There was definitely Angels watching over him. He was transferred in a police car and took to the hospital and flat lined for 30 minutes he is a living testimony on how Good God Is. He just got transferred to the rehabilitation for physical therapy. Please Pray for Me and my family. It's going to be a long process. But I know with God by our side we will make it . We can go do all things through Christ who strengthens Us. Stop the Gun Violence. Amen

Just hold on I know he's a way maker, because not just once but three times I died. My spirit left my body, the Lord took me to heaven and showed me my,grandparents and father, he said stop worrying about them , they know you loved them immensely.I want you to know so you will worry no more.He told me he was sending back to earth because my work was not finished and that was forty years ago, I know that he is. She felt that in me today and this amazing glory to God song pulled every ache and heavy thoughts out of me and felt a releasing as tears fell and He poured in! I was there those nights at the Potter's House and remember the Spirit of God was so beautiful and the environment was so that no one wanted to leave. As you can see some of those gospel soldier artists have gone home to be with the Lord, and this "Bridge" was truly built for those who didn't know Jesus, to taste and see that He is truly good. It was a incredible mixture of gospel genres that joined on one platform for three days and brought heaven on earth. I loved every moment.

I always craved to worship God like this. From a place of truth, utmost vulnerability, falling flat at His feet and closed out from everything else. I'm happy to finally be at this point in freedom.

Smokey sings his praises to God with such strong conviction and spirit that I think even if someone were deaf their soul would feel the spirit in the air around them.

This has got to be one of the most powerful performances I've seen in quite some time... I watch it regularly when I just need to give God some good praise......

He let God and the Holy Spirit use him. You could see the audience was being blessed and the audience was filled withh famous singers. But they were in tears as God blessed. smoky was ad lobbing with his voice and with his piano. it was mastery and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit . I watch this video all the time!

I'm watching this in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ( May 2022) where last night I spoke with a ton of Vietnamese young people who LOVE HIP HOP AND performed it for me! GANGSTAH RAP is against the law here but they love and appreciate the ART FORM of rapping; and being exposed to it gave them the opportunity to love and appreciate it. The musicality of SMOKIE is on the level of a Stevie Wonder, Duke Ellington, and the like and I want to recognize it! Sadly, it can't be appreciated if not exposed to the world. Thank Bill Gaither who I have listened to and known of for 40 years for exposing his audience to Smokie. BLACK Gospel folks know him but I bet there were many there THAT NEVER HEARD OF HIM! I was on an airplane years ago listening to Mahalia Jackson in my CD player and had the CD cover in my hand when all of a sudden this older Japanese guy sitting right next to me who had not spoken for hours, started shouting MAHALIA MAHALIAJACKSON MAHALIAJACKSON and got so excited to tell me he saw her LIVE in concert in ASIA. Mahalia sang for the queen and around the world! They appreciated her ARTISTRY even when they could not understand the words. LOOK on KZread at her concerts in Germany, England, and the world!She was not one of the greatest GOSPEL SINGERS, she was recognize as and was and still is ONE OF THE GREATEST SINGERS OF ALL TIME! I WISH artist like SMOKIE can be celebrated not only for giving you goosebumps and tears but and all that, but also for the brilliance of his musicality which cannot be overlooked.

I love every gospel artist,because they are proclaiming the name of the Lord. But there is something about an Anointed Singer like this right here. Whew!!! There are very few that sing not because they have beautiful voice, but because they are anointed to. Singers like. (Smokie,, Yolanda Adams,Donnie McClurkin ,Marvin Sapp,Bishop Paul Morton, Juanita Bynum, , Leandria Johnson, , Tamela Mann, Damita Chandler(Haddon) William Murphy, William McDowell, Tasha Cobbs etc....When you watch these Artist performing, you feel the anointing through your device(computer ,phone ,tablet etc) and you cant help your self but start Wosrhiping!!! I am praying that God will rise up some more that will give him the gory,and don't take it for themself ( Fantasia Heather Headley etc

@Amara Faith it happens to me get goosebumps. A young lady sung this song at my youngest brother’s Homegoing Service. I needed God every minute of at that time in my life & I still need Him now. Be Blessed.

I can definitely tell Smokie discovered Donny Hathaway early in his musical journey. He not only demonstrates similar talents as a singer and musician, his sincere relationship with God is evident. Donny wrote a song called, "We Need You Right Now Lord", and I look at this song as a continuation of the same plea. I love this.
