Smokey Robinson & the Miracles "(Come 'Round Here) I'm The One You Need" My Extended Version!
Музыка
No copyright infringement intended. Hollad Dozier Holland gave this beauty to the Miracles to record, released in 1966. And what a fine job they did...on this mono version that I stretched! Of course...Motown's amazing Funk Brothers and the Detroit Symphony are featured....and, of course...no Andantes!

Those lyrics are AWESOME!! Love the music.
The face of Motown. The ones that paved the way for r&b artists. Simply the best! Extended version prolongs the beautiful music. Excellent!
This has always been a classic. big hit for me
The MIRACLES ....Motown's FIRST.....Motown's BEST !!!
The remix is a tear jerker...make you want to go back in time...
BACK IN THE EVERLOVING DAY BABY!!! CAN'T YOU JUST FEEL THAT MORE INNOCENT TIME, THE MAGIC OF A NEW THING CALLED R&B, that gave birth to Soul and Rock and Roll. It MIXED WITH THE TESTS AND TRIALS OF THE EARLY SIXTIES...OMG...WE WERE SO BLESSED TO HAVE HAD THAT DAY..".I MAY NOT BE THE ONE YOU WANT, YOU KNOW I AM THE ONE YOU NEED..."- back in the day baby, back in the EVERLOVING day!

I wasn't back in the 60's, but I sometimes feel that I should have been and wish I would have been. Today's music is not even close to music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. So thankful my mom introduced us to all the good stuff. As for Smokey, I've loved him since I can remember. :)

Magic days....... so blessed to have experienced the music when it was brand new......mind blowing variety of all kinds of great music on top 40........
Now you say every time you need some affection The one you love goes in another direction And you just sit there in a daze reminiscing When you know some other lips he's been kissing Now when you need the love He's never shown you Come round here And when you need some loving arms To hold you Come round here Now I may not be the one you want Oh But I know I'm the one you need Said I may not be the one you want But I know I'm the one you need
The MIRACLES RULE !!! DEAL WITH IT !!!

Girl can't you see while you're longing for his touch That I'm the 1 who loves who loves you so much. And while you're longing for his embrace you sit alone there with tears on your face. My teenage experience with someone I had a crush on at J. Will Jones Elementary Chenevert & Elgin St.Houston, Texas circa 1968. Her name was.....! Nuff Said! T'Challa! Delfonics Forever! Smokey is the world's greatest living poet! Today, Yesterday & Forever! Hands Down! I Told You So!
I’m stalking your channel....I just need more...the memories...the late 60’s....the carefree days....the first love (s)....that fabulous Motown music. Life seeming simpler back then (which it was...I wasn’t an adult yet) and I wasn’t even thinking about how so many times, during my adult years, I’d cry...make choices I’d regret....taking the road less traveled...hitting the detours...the metaphorical tsunami waves that seemed to knock me down completely, the blinding wind and rain, the heartbreak, the losses of loved ones. Feeling as if I wanted to give up...just lay down and sleep. Me...always pushing myself to get back up to keep going...for my children...to pay the bills....for my grandchildren. For the memories I cherish now. Thank you for these extended versions! Great job! 👍💖👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@@rollerchickable I came across to that fact a few years ago. The death of The Miracles make this fine music outdated. Also, Hal Jackson, a former disc jockey, who would play this and other old music on WBLS 107.5 FM in New York, died several years ago. The best I have is to catch all the music on KZread that I missed.
Another Motown beauty! This song is grand. I am glad that I stick with the great-old [Motown] music. Mosogotam, you did a fantastic job!

Great Song
WOW! Just, WOW! This song's music track always blew me away with that haunting flute/orchestral arrangement and you've made it the highlight. Hearing how you placed that at the outset and then in the middle, well, it's someone giving you your favorite desert, drink or treat and allowing you to indulge to your heart's content! Fantastic job!!!!
Genius writer,Genius song and Genius mix by you-much appreciated.
I'm sorry but music doesn't get any better than this. Some people have said I live in the past. Actually I live in the present and especially appreciate what technology has done while I listen today to music that has no equal. The extended versions are priceless to say, at the least already enhancing the very best. Thank you again!!!!

Instantly regognisable as a Motown track , and exellantly enhanced by Mosogotam , sir you have a great talent , thank you.
The Jackson 5 have their version of this song...Michael does an excellent job on lead vocal.
Masterful job on a greatly over-looked CLASSIC from the GREAT MIRACLES! The visuals only enhance this powerful mix! Ahhhh..FANTASTIC JOB,PISANO! keep them coming our way.. all the best from NYC/Joey
Mosogotam? I have Smokey Robinson listing a long with Flaming Ember on You Tube. Who needs a turn table when we got KZread Radio Station online? Lol!
A nice change doing an occasional Holland-Dozier-Holland song and getting another hit!
Seriously awesome....
Notice also back then how nice the musicians dressed. These guys are a class act and could sing and now when we hear music it's so fabricated it's hard to tell if people can actually sing.

Absolutely brilliant job on this, love it!!
Love the song and I love this extended version by my favorite "extender". With your obviously impassioned work, you have given new life to those Motown hits of the 60s and 70s for those of us who grew up in that era AND you are giving a sampling of what the current music market missed. As I know has been mentioned before, many Motown enthusiasts believe that this would have been a wonderful song with the Four Tops. Of course, there might have been some tweaking necessary in the instrumental track. THANKS AGAIN, Mosogotam.

Is that sound at the high end of the register a piccolo?
I always thought the arrangement to this song was bizarre at best but the way you remixed it, it made me appreciate it more than I ever have. Thanks for letting me have a fresh perspective, mosogotam. Also, there are two versions of this song (this one) and the other track from the "Away We A Go-Go" album that has Smokey's voice crackling at the end.
Luv this....another gem! When ya gonna post "It's A Good Feeling"?
A great job John on one of my favourite tracks. Fantastic! Can never understand why Smokey decided to recut his vocal several months later (checkout the stereo L.P mix). I always thought the vocal used on the 45 was perfect, but it seems Smokey did not. Btw, where did you get the mono backing track from? It doesn't sound like the usual stereo mix minus the vocals to me. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Any body know why smokey and the miracles were singing a Holland Dozier Holland song. Was it originally penned for the 4 tops.I would have loved to hear Levi stubbs rendition of this.
