Loved coming along with you Max and were happy you brought along your parents, Chris and Judy too! You don't know about old footage Chris. We still have videos to do from 2 years ago and we're still recording more! 🤣🤣 Shame you can't do the longer trips that you're used too, but their are worse places to be stranded than Oahu. The "Smokies" are beautiful and we loved your adventure. Gorgeous, so well edited footage. I never knew the US had a Transylvania, but I was headed there I just may have chosen daytime! 🤣🧛‍♀🧛‍♂Stunning waterfalls! I think we'd stay with Max with the slide. You eat well on your trip and we loved coming along. Beautiful video and we would call it paradise!

Actually Round mtn is one of my favorite campgrounds

Another great video. Brings back so many great memories with my Father in 70s and 80s. I have literally camped and been to most places in this video. Can’t wait to share the area with my grandchildren. I live a short 1 hr drive to the gorge

Wow mountainous area with lots

The Smokies are so pretty, but it has been a long time since I have been to that part of the country. I am sure after a few days in the woods, it was nice to get a hot shower, even if it was a sleepless night. It is always a bummer when you have to back track because the trail you were on is closed! National Forests are always so nice and your views on the hillside were beautiful. Max is so cute. I love his smiles out the window. Hawaii is a wonderful place to spend some time as well! 😊👍

You are so right every trail just needs to be explored! I have always suffered from needing to see what is over the next hill, and then the one after that. Our world is filled with so much magical beauty that just begs to be explored. Your part of the world has so many wonderful areas to explore. We have pretty much domesticated our landscapes over here but we have tried to see a little of what is on offer your side of the Atlantic (30 plus road trips). Always love your campsites out in the wild. We did not have much chance of that kind of adventure as we always had rental cars which cannot go where you can. We have encountered a fair bit of your wildlife but no Vampires yet.

This was a great video....I enjoyed every minute of it. The smokey mountains are beautiful with so much scenery and nice camping spots. You mentioned you are planning to drive the trail again in the Fall...so I assume your move to Hawaii is temporary?
