This video was made BEFORE May 21 when Mavado's damage got nerfed. The highest damaging combo here went from 52% -> 47%, and his bnb optimals went from 40-42% -> 36-38%.

People asking “what skin is that” and completely ignoring his kameo is litterally spider man🤦🏾‍♂️

Ok, this guide is goated. Your combos are realistic af, exactly what I look for. Plus had no clue mavado is a pseudo-breaker. I think Mavado adds more pressure options as his back+kameo is plus on block too.

Definitely not the easiest thing to do but practice does make progress.

I main Smoke been my main since MK3 also MK9 & Triborg in MKX! However I feel he needs a buff nothing crazy but give him mids & a decent wake up. None the less thank you for the video in my opinion his best Kameo is Sektor but I am excited to try out Mavado

Smoke is such a versatile character that he works well with so many kameos and playstyles. Mavado is definitely not his "strongest" or "best" team but it does still work.

That's a rather difficult question to answer since different kameos offer different playstyles with Smoke and it also depends on the match up. If I were to pick a kameo to cover "majority" of match ups, it would be between Stryker, Sareena, and Khameleon.

I did that big como too of 25 hits and gives me 503 damage not 52 percent.

Those two kameos definitely work for Smoke. Smoke is very versatile with a lot of kameos.

@@NikkNitro thanks, ive never tried yrs with my hotbox cuz block button and layout was confusing. But I started because of ermac and his cancel. Gonna have to try with smoke now!

@@NikkNitro I reckon I could get used to it. What feels comfortable is crazy for me atm. I learnt ermac with kameo being on 4 and 4 being r1 lol. I couldn't get used to using thumb to hit 4 so close to 3. If that makes any sort of sense lol

I do get what you mean. I'm using Ermac as well for this season, I've been pressing 4 with my middle finger since I myself can't use my thumb to press 4.

In this world, Smoke has so many ways to open up their opponent, and on top of that being invisible. Obviously he's not unbeatable and he does have apparent weaknesses and is not the easiest to use, but that doesn't mean he sucks.

​@@NikkNitro I don't know what world you're talking about but it's definitely not this one, he does suck lmao. His, "many ways to open you up" are horrible snd not reliable, a 31 frame overhead that can be up blocked on reaction, a low hit confirm with a up black and armor gap in it, and gaps in ever single one of his half decent strings, not to mention the useless ones. The only thing this character has is invisibility mix, without it he would easily be in the bottom 5. And also he is very easy to use, that's why you see a lot of low ranks use him to get wins against people who don't know the match up lmao.
