There's a lot of useful information in there,
I hope 🤔😁
______________
About a year ago I got serious about character animation and started making time to practice. I chose to use copying tactics. It’s like learning to write.
You first have to trace the letter, then try to write it yourself and then later you have your own special handwriting!
I like trying to feel like I’m in someone else’s shoes.
I’m just like that person, going through the same possible difficulties, repeating their work.
But now it’s time - to make my own movie.
Make my own LAV videos and continue to learn and grow. I’m grateful to Savannah for giving me the opportunity to be in my own skin - it wasn’t easy, but it was fun! ❤‍🔥

You, sir are insane. You have to be to be able to do such painstaking work, and not go insane! Seriously, this is incredible. Thanks for including a bit in real time. I'm not sure most folks understand just how long stop motion animation takes, especially when all they see are montages. Keep doing incredible work!

Thank you very much for your feedback. I really appreciate your comment. Yes it's true, I was filming and filming and filming like crazy! I want to practice! I like to experiment! When I was on my third day of shooting I was showing the process to my friends and my friends were asking me: Hey man! why do you go to all the trouble of hanging cotton/doom on a string? it takes a lot of time! wouldn't it be easier to shoot the smoke on a green background on glass from a top angle on a horizontal plane?! and then just pretreat the smoke in ae or make a loope of it. - Why are you making your life so difficult?! But I wanted to! I think that's what my experience and practice has been about, working and controlling everything with different timings....

Thanks for the feedback! Yes it is. A few months ago I started filming one dialog for 12 seconds and stopped at the 8th second. It's been so long - need to force myself to keep going and finish shooting that scene. Worried if all the equipment hasn't moved in such a long period of time and I can continue the scene...
