Nice I have the same bike and have made every mod possible to it. I can't seem to break 40mph even on 58.8 volts @ 30amp, shunt modded both controllers, upgraded all the power wires to a larger gage. All the connectors are now xt90s. My goal is to get it to hit at least 50.

That would be pretty sweet! I did notice the wires were pretty small and the controller seem to be maxed out at around 12 A or something like that.

Thank you for this video, in your opinion do you really need the second motor? I like the 1000 watt one motor xdc600, but cant find any reviews comparing the 2. I think I would get more range with just the one motor but looking for some feedback

Hello, sorry for my delayed reply. I will sometimes disconnect to the front motor and run with just the rear. I do prefer having the extra power though. Having the power available. So, if you get the two motor one, you can just disconnect the front tub when wanted.

i am having issues with a cliensy XDC60d looks very similar to what your working on ,there are 4, 3 wire connections. i need to know what colors go to and from each to controller . when i got it the wires were torn out .any help would be appreciated

@@chrisstinkering3651 I have the newer screen on the Keteles K800, and thankfully, that worked! I do have 1 additional screens (18p) but that was a binary choice. That’s what I get for rooting around in there. I turned off the throttle and messed up the number of magnets which cause the speedo to stop working. You saved my bacon man and I appreciate it. Is that controller gonna be water proof after though?

The housing itself is not waterproof, but the controller is waterproof. The connections may not be though.

Hello, you normally don't have to replace the controllers. This bike was brand new and the defect was overlooked. The manufacture was quick to respond and sent me 2 controllers, one for the front wheel and 1 for the rear wheel, I only needed the controller for the rear wheel. The bike costs around $1,999.00 USD.

The price is down to $1300-1400 now. The controllers are $100 ea. If you ride too long at full throttle, especially on a grade, the controllers will burn out. I'm in limp mode on the front controller only. The controllers are very low end and are at their absolute limit bringing the bike to max speed on a level grade. I think I'll just upgrade to controllers that are happy pumping 1500w to the rear and 1000w to the front for as long as I want. The motors should live ok at that power level. If they don't, I have two direct drive motors that will be happy at higher power levels than that, and the controllers I'll upgrade to I can program not to draw more than 50 battery amps.

Have exact model and power keeps cutting out on me.. If battery taken off n put back or charged it runs for small time then quits AGAIN rather quick matter of seconds and idea of problem.. thanks from "Sore Thighs"

Peddling and throttle. The throttle operates the front tire and peddling operates the rear.

Use both throttle and peddling at the same time. The throttle makes the front wheel turn and peddling makes the rear wheel go.
