My guess is that he's been humbled and humiliated so often that he understands the value of humility and how to respect others. We just don't get to see it that often because he's usually surrounded by psychopaths and idiots.

You have no idea how happy this video made me, at this point I’m rooting for Marvin because of the shit he gets everyday. Mr. Goodman should’ve stayed in Marvin’s body for a long time in order to fully learn his lesson.
