Have you tried? what is the difference between the Forefront 2 vs Sessions..? what is the difference? (other than $80 more) Stores only have one or the other.

Hey Rob, I have only tried the Forefront 2 on in the store and not actually ridden with it. My understanding is that it is a little burlier/tiny bit more coverage. The Session has less Koroyd but that makes it more ventilated. I dont think you can go wrong with either, but if you ride where its hot most of the time the Session might be a good place to look. I have the Forefront 2 from smith and like it very much then my original helmet.

Lol. At least u came clean…Fidlock rocks for sure ….I have😢 the Speedframe pro. I tried the Smith and it is more comfortable , not as cool , but feels better for my lopsided head

Alright alright alright! Nice video. I was actually comparing both Smith and Fox as well. You swayed me! Fidlock with the Speedframe Pro is so much better than the classic buckle. Glad I came across your video before I made my purchase. Thanks again for your time and effort. Nothing against Smith but I am not spoiled with Fidloc.

Hey Jaydo, thats awesome the helmet is working for you. It's a great helmet. That trail is called 3 Birds and it is in Whistler in the Westside trail network. It's on Trailforks if you have that.

can you remove the visor on the smith session?

Yep, it just pops on or off.

And Fox matches components and clothes and teh coolest brand and quality.

Good looking lids for sure. Just put so much product in that faux hawk that it pops right back up when you take your helmet off!!😜

Ya, it is 2 different shades of grey essentially. A light and a darker grey 🤟

Ha, I do love it. I have a buddy who could care less, but for me, if all the other things on the helmet are the same, except one has Fidlock, I'm going Fidlock. I just find its intuitive and easier for me. Different strokes for different folks sometimes. 😃🤙

I Have Both and the Smith Is A Better Helmet More stable more comfortable better quality . I hate the fitlock thing

Hey Darrin, it's good to have choices. I have a buddy that likes the Smith as well, it fits his head shape better, where I am the opposite. Just bought another Fox. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Man …Why nobody speaks about Leatt Helmet 4.0 allmtn v21 or plus ??? , it’s the direct competition !! Maybe for that shit calls Turbine 360. When I read the white paper mmm doesn’t found science … Virginia tech has a 5 levels and bla bla , but the thing is : many professional riders use it Leatt !!!!

Hey Oscar Castro, thanks for the comment. I actually have a Leatt Gravity 4.0 and love it. I buy my own gear so I only buy what I use and at the time I did that video Leatt was not very big in Whistler so it was not even in the shop. I do love their products though. There are just too many helmet brands to review them all. I am due for a new lid so maybe I'll take a look and see what I can find.
