Trancendents, Warrior Tabi, Joutan's Wrath, Hydra's Lament, Blood Forge, last item can be anything but I usually go with pen like stone cutting sword, titan's bane or void shield.

what I need to max first? and what then?

I really enjoy playing Loki, he was my first diamond God in Smite. Your videos really help me become a better Loki player, and to understand his damage more, and have the most safest way to deal that damage. But everyone says he sucks in conquest and is only good for split pushing, because he can't team fight. And in the mid-late game of conquest that's usually when the team fights occur often. How do you play Loki so well in duo lane when he's so susceptible to CC. I'd imagine you'd get destroyed due to the hunter having range, and guardian having CC to keep Loki away from the hunter. Playing Loki as an ADC sounds like fun, so helpful tips would be appreciated.

Chris Portal i prefer ninja tabi, transcendesce, hydra's, masamune (if my main target is a tank), stone cutting sword, Qin Sai's and either bloodforge or Jottun's Wrath. Yep, i build burst against other ADCs

Just a heads up, his 1 is quite easy to hear also. If you use it out of lane when nothing is happening they will most likely hear you just as some people have great headphones and can hear his footsteps in an inactive lane or jungle. 1 is less obvious than 3 but a focused team will still know you are coming unless your team provides a distraction

okay so I have been trying to make a good build for loki and I would like to hear ur thought (no particular order) warrior tabi, blood forge, joulder wrath, wind demon, death bringer and malice. after this vid I was thinking of swapping out death bringer for hydra. Is this an okay build

Im not Professor Loki( but I have a Loki with 7 stars, so I think I can help you). Building Crit with Loki gives you a lot of power, but you don't get any pen, so your damage won't be the best at late game. What I build is shifter's shield, warrior Tabi, hidra, jotuuns,Bloodforge and finally Titan bane. It works very well at conquest and duel for me. I hope I helped you😀

For Loki, I use the 1, 3, then ult combo, by the time I ulted them they are stunned enough so I can hit them with my bleed. It one shots like 90% of the time, am I doing it wrong? I'm going to try your combo

Simply to use your hydra's lament, using your 3 after you have ulted and basic attacked once you will be able to attack twice (auto attack canceling) but if you use your 3 before you ult, then you would be possibly missing out on 1 free basic attack/damage from Hydra's ect.

That's what a lot of people do (including myself) just make sure you make your build around power, crit, attack speed in that order if that's how you use loki

Loki is my 4th best character with Ah Muzen Cab being my best. Ah Muzen Cab is counter against Loki... how do I play against AMC if he counters me? Honey reveals invisibility, 2 does dot, 1 heals him, gives movement, and attack speed.

Don''t go the "easiest to learn the basics" NEVER do that. Play conquest because it is the hardest. You won't learn nothing if get the "easy" stuff.

I saw that combo with the 1 then hit then hit 3 at RobinBoy Smite.He is really god at loki but he does upgrade his 3 and I got used to that too:P

Nice combo man, I get what you're saying but becareful not to repeat yourself too much. You risk losing impatient viewers, which is a shame 'cause you have some good points :)

When he uses his 3, it's an auto attack reset. Also, if he has hydras it will effect towers, phoenixes, and Titan much like polynomicon. Not sure what moment you're thinking of specifically, but that's the only reasons I can think of him doing that.

epic killer use your e directly after your basic attack, if you do it fast the animation of your first basic attack gets canceled.

+Arcami There is only 2 counters against Loki, play smart and cc. That is the most simple way i can show.

So here is the deal: (LONG TEXT) -Good video. -I main Loki (aswell?). -I agree 99% with the video. I got BMed on Twigs stream (not relevant to this video) for saying that Twig should not max his 1 over his 3 in his game and here is why: (Also I know you said it is preference this is just me explaining why) -3 does burst instead of over time damage, and can scare opponents away when you don't want to fight. -3 is safer poke then your 1 since you can use your 1 for escape if anything goes wrong. -You should not use your 1 if you're poking with your 3 because if you get stunned you have used all your abilities. -If you poke with your 1, you are open for ganks and counter engage. (Talking about trying not to burn ult for no reason) At higher level junglers will focus Loki in the solo lane pre lvl 12 because he has no beads, and if you run into the lane, decoy, then poke with your 1 the solo laner will call his jungler and tell him. Junglers will then wait for you to stealth and poke before they go in. (Same as for example when an Odin jumps to clear) So for me personally I prefer to play safer until level 12 and then I would go for kills. (If a kill potential shows I will kill the enemy no problem.) This is about Loki in the solo lane. I main jungle and solo, so I know how the one works with the other. Loki can't jungle at higher level play but at lower to mid sure why not. In the solo lane he can work but at higher level ganks will be scarier as players are able to predict a good Loki, so playing safer is smarter. I got BMed because apparently SPL players were maxing 1 on Loki as well but people forget that they also went out and lost every game. Clarification: -What you explained is 100% correct and maxing my 3 over my 1 is preference and not more efficient. -Maxing your ult before anything else is just dumb and thank you for showing the people. -Your combo is something I have been experimenting with hydras since the change (Few months ago?) but I find it extremely unsafe because the turn potential between your 1 and your ult in the combo is too far apart and you can get killed if there is anyone around. (This combo is perfect for 1v1 but not 5v5 in my opinion, even tho it is max damage output you can have in a combo on a Loki) -Personally my combo is not a kill combo most of the time. I 1>AA>2(Try and bodyblock)>3>AA and then retreat. I save my ult as an escape in case they want to collapse on me. I also don't AA between 2 and 3 to save up time but also it denies me some damage. But it's fine, because if the target drops to 50% or less he is useless in a fight most of the time. So sometimes rendering targets useless or crippled is a lot more useful then straight up killing them but risking to get picked off yourself. Thanks for reading. Hope it didn't sound BM I was just trying to put this out there and hear your opinion as well about it.

Professor, i level 1 point in 3 on level 4 because i dont play conquest like, when i play siege or clash i make this because i will have 2 points in 2 for clear and 1 point for 1 to scape and 1 point for 3 because in this gamemodes normally ppls be very agressive and i need to damage maybe kill. like i play safe but with one point in 3 is more safely to play.

+Lessy King Yes, i do the same thing you do IF i push the enemy ADC and Guardian but that is pretty rare because Loki usually gets pushed out early game. You only skip a point at lvl 4 if you are being pushed back. For gamemodes like clash, joust etc...put a point in your 3.

I have a question regarding Loki's invisibility. I heard that if you have your graphics on low, you can actually see Loki's direction of movement half a second after he goes invis, is this true? Also, what items are used, other than mystical mail to detect his presence? Double also, can mixing staying on one spot and moving after going invisible be useful for avoiding people finding you when listening for footsteps?

I never have experienced that lately. This is why i play rank so there won't be mirror matches. But if you face against another Loki, your best bet is to wait for him to make the first move so you can counter-attack him. Follow wherever the enemy Loki goes.

What about season 5?

The problem i have with your loki is that u don't usually poke people loki is more of all in god at least in jungle i could agree with playing loki your way in solo land or as adc and the other thing is that your 3 slows your opponent so i usually use it just to deny my opponent way of escape whem my ult is down

So let's say I don't play conquest, because I dont. I play siege, arena and ALOT of joust. I have Bastet at mastery 10 and loki at 5 (my 2 favourite assassins) What build would you suggest for loki in joust? I see some suggest trans and some don't. I see now that hydras is an obvious choice and I will practice the combo you showed in the video :) Also +1 sub for you c:

+Tszpan Li true but it comsumes your ult which I (and i think ProfessorLoki also) use it as more of a secure tool than an engage tool plus if your ult and 1 kills them because i dont know the enemy is 5 levels bellow you with no defense then you have no escape. i think if your gonna engage with the ult it should be 4>AA>2>AA>3>AA>1>AA this way. if they are body blocked in minions or by you and a wall then decoy has a chance for the extra damage the ult is confirmed damage unless they predict it and aegis or counter it somehow. the 1 is saved if the 4 2 3 combo kills them so you have an escape if you need it and if you need the 1 for damage its a dot which can kill while you walk away which is so satisfying because everyone knows cool guys dont look at explosions (or dying enemies in this case.) also not to be an asshole and point out grammar because i know there are errors in this but the "more" is pointless.

+Tszpan Li Your ult is should not be used for engaging the enemy, just think of the ability name "assassinate" which is to kill a target. Another words, you use it last to secure or to run away. Also your ult doesn't have to make a sound to be exposed. This has to do with being revealed. If you ult someone, they can see you and fight you. I'm talking about a way to deal damage without having the enemy knowing WHEN you will strike. Also you cannot pull a full combo by ulting first because the stun is only 1 second. They also might aegis your damage after the stun or during it with beads. This brings back the whole idea of not upgrading your ultimate because it is meant for "assassinating" your target (finish or securing the kill). If you plan to engage your ultimate, you are then relying more of the ultimate's damage which is very detrimental.

I watched 1 professor Loki video and got triple the kills I used to get. I'm a star Loki with no shame

I worked out how much damage that combo does (With your adc Loki build) (non mitigated and with a decoy hit) That combo does 4543 physical damage!!! -_- this can easily kill any tank, probably even with max protections

I know this is a little late but your theory on the ultimate is simply false. If that were true every single pro would just never upgrade there ultimate.

It only applies to Loki and some other Gods like susano. You only max your ult if it deals a lot of damage. Loki's ult deals only max 450 with 120%. BECAUSE of THAT "120%" scaling is the reason of not NEEDING to upgrade Loki's ult. If you wanna talk math, maxing Loki's ultimate first does less damage at the end than skipping it.

I don't play Loki and probably never will.

Loki sucks. And not you as youtuber, the character sucks. Here are the reasons why he is the worst jungler in the game, and one of the worst assassins. 1. Single target burst. Yeah, sure, with your whole kit you can burst someone really easily. The problem is: team fights. All Loki can do in a team fight is burst one person. And to do that he requires to have ult available. Then he cannot deal as much damage to anyone else there, making him easy target. 2. Bad early jungle. If you want to clear jungle buffs easily, you'll most likely upgrade decoy first. But then if enemy jungler invades you you can't do anything, because you don't have the damaging abilities. If you want to protect yourself from invade, you would have to pick 3 first, sacrificing the ability to clear a buff. 3. Counterable early game. Enemies can walk into a decoy to make archers shoot at Loki, which protects you from potential gank. That's why imo Loki sucks. He really needs a rework, to actually get him into meta.

Piterros PL Nah u can use him 😂😂😂 If its a team fight use ur ult then 3 to kill then 1 to escape, after that use 1 then 3 to sneak up to anothwr and clean always go behind the entire team, if jungling come from another lane while behind the enemy.

Piterros PL he is one of those gods that is terrible in conquest which is the main gamemode but he is a good A or A+ in other modes like joust clash and arena. If he was overall a bad god they would buff him. Have you seen Ah Puch in conquest? He is the worst god in conquest but gets no buffs because he is a decent god in other game modes. Not the best but not terrible.

loki doesnt need skill he is easy af. i dont understand people WHO think they are good because the can press 4 then 3 insta kill.. play Osiris and do well with him then come to me

All late but a good loki player is always better than a noob.

Loki is a bad god. Worst team fighter in the game. I just smh when I have one on my team and jump for joy if he's on the other team.
