Todesnuss Considering that Horus, was born after Osiris's reconstruction, I think you may be mistaken. I am fairly sure that in the original myth he returned with a hand missing, so Thoth made an artificial one.

I enjoy these reveals that they put out for the new upcoming gods. I like how they put the lore in. Certainly puts more character into the game. I'm curious to see set and Osiris son

He definitely looks like he's going to be op for a while. I can't wait to give him a shot. I love the play style.

***** No... Seth is correct in Kemetic... Set is the Greek translation. I don't even want them to make Set because they have already used too much of the Greek influenced Kemetic lore that demonizes him.

Now Horus! Then I'm happy =) ...but seriously Horus has always been my favorite. Even got a statuette from egypt...

A floating core, scary o-o. Like how he slowly goes into his ghost/spirit form.

I'm really glad they made him a warrior. At first it looked like they were gonna make 'em a mage, and that's all fine and dandy - but the game definitely needs more warriors. Pretty awesome set, too. And lol @ everyone screaming "OP." The new god in SMITE is OP? Wow, who could have expected these unforeseen turn of events.

Fun fact: the missing piece was his member, where Isis proceeded to make one out of clay.

Been playing him on the PTS. *Broken* god of death is putting it lightly.

Depends on the lore. Some stories say she already had Horus atm but others say she used a clay dick to revive Osiris and make babies that way

I only hope they make a big difference in appearance than anubis, their animals are similar, but if they make him mostly red (color of chaos which he is the god of) and give him storm related powers it will be awesome.

originally in Egyptian mythology, it was a shepherd's crook and not a sickle, to signify guiding your people, and the flail for avenging, but i can understand why that was changed for the purposes of Smite.

i knew Osiris was cool...but now...he's a Badass! Keep up the good work Hirez! you guys/girls are awesome! :-)

Horus and Seth need to be added not just one of which, they have all the gods family like Zues, Hades, Posiden, Ares, Etc- but they can't add Horus or Seth? I'm guessing they're saving best for last

Seems like Osiris is a beast, will see if that's the case once he comes out. But yeah, it's pretty cool that we got him. Although I never really imagined Osiris as a warrior ^_^ But I still hope that one day we will get slavic, african and korean pantheons... one day...

Just my opinion, hope it is constructive. Very interesting powers. Can't wait to play with Osiris! My first impression was "why green?". If it's a corpse then I imagine maybe light grey skin with a very faint percentage of green. This guy looks like a washout Hulk. (edit: so I learned his skin is green because green represents rebirth, so ...my bad and thumbs up to the designers). And IMO his crown and gold accessories should be more vibrant like the golden versions of the gods, just to make contrast and make his skin look more decadent. ps: bring back original Kali skin!

I'm surprised Set hasn't made it into this game.
