Anubis and Sobek were both earlier releases. I am pretty sure Anubis was at launch and I think Sobek might've been, too. That's why you wouldn't have seen a reveal trailer pop up. Just an FYI.

@@forascuvictor9200 Ah, ok, I thought so. I didn't first play until a couple years in. But I saw that 9 Years of Smite video WhiskyWyrm did and remember both of them towards the beginning. Incidentally, to Def Not Def, you guys should definitely watch that after your drafts. It's pretty awesome.

Bastet's Ult has actually changed its appearance and effects at least three times since she made her debut. Its current form is where she launches a projectile beam in front of her and if it hits an enemy God, it transforms into an ethereal Lion who will pick up that enemy God and carry them to Bastet's location.

Actually Ken, that was the exact part she *didn't* find. Luckily someone crafted one for them. Anubis and Sobek aren't seen here as they launched with the first version of the game. Anhur's first cast is "beware the shifting sands". Ken has the better generalist set up, whilst bethany has strong heals and a rather large chunk of DPS.

Fun Fact: Horus and Set were released at the same time, something never before done in smite prior to their release! I highly recommend checking out the smaller pantheons in a single video: Arthurian, Polynesian, Voodoo(but wait till later this year we should be getting a new one), Slavic, Yoruba, and Great Old Ones

Anubis is and will always be my favorite Egyptian God. Though I do like them all.

The Egyptian Gods are my favorite Pantheon in Smite in terms of design. But Norse is a close second. Also damn, Bethany calling Ken out for being horny for Neith lmfao. The side-eyes! Khepri Announcer Pack is S Tier. Easily one of my favorites. FYI: Isis was renamed Eset because YT kept demonitizing videos.

At last! While the Greek gods are my faves, Egypt's gods are pretty awesome, too. Anubis in particular. And I think you need to know that while Set is portrayed as an out-and-out villain nowadays, that wasn't always true. In the old mythology, he helped Ra fight Apep/Apophis every night while taking the sun through the underworld.

Yeah, in some versions of the myth it is Set, other versions it is Horus, and in other versions it is Set DISGUISED as Horus. But the plain and simple fact is this: Set may be a god of Chaos and Destruction, but he is also no fan of Apophis and its desire to destroy EVERYTHING.

Fun fact: Neith is often depicted as scantily clad in ancient Egyptian art. Just because it's suspect today, doesn't mean it's not historically accurate.

Set is my favorite of the egyptians, one of my favorites to play in general.

Anubis is in the game, but he was such an early character he didnt have a trailer. Same with Sobek.

When Horus defeated his uncle Set he didn't kill him, instead Set was task to forever help Ra stop the Lord of Chaos the Snake God Apophis from destroying the world.

Anubis has been out for awhile, so it is weird to not see him here, don't know why, you didn't have him. You also are missing Sobek, who is my favorite. Technically there have been some changes to the Egyptian Gods, as Bastet was reworked and isis is now Eset. Yeah, the Egyptian pantheon was one of the five original pantheons in the game, along with Norse, Greek, Hindu, and Chinese. Also, it is Serqet not Serget.

Isis is no longer called "Isis" in-game, but is now called by her original name of Eset. The reason for this is because, due to the terrorist group that adopted her name, a lot of Smite streamers were getting their videos and VODs demonetized because of the usage of the name "Isis". Because of this, Hi-Rez stepped in and changed her name to Eset, which was her original name in Egyptian mythology.

Bastet Ult has changed and imo the current ult is better.

Also it would be cool to see you compare the old abilities and passives to the current ones in game

You guys should react to challenge videos from Batman Arkham video games. Like, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight. They are very sick. And despite the fact that i love playing these games myself, i'am not as good as those other guys, who dedicated themselves for these Batman games. Like Batman Arkham Videos channel for example.

I mean, you do play a role in a sense. The different MOBA archetypes like Tank, Support, Carry, and such could be considered "roles" if you squint.

They just added the ability for Anubis to walk while using his breath attack. He's still bad competitively though lol

See.. Greek gods are beyond hornyess and cruelty. The Norse gods are conqueres.. and thats what i like about the egyptian mythology.. most of them are extremely powerful but they came to earth to live with them, and care for them like kids. It's wierdly cute
