I love how Smi actually performs: Live band, Back up singers, he actually raps the entire time. Unlike a lot of these rappers performing to a backing track and doing nothing but jumping around on stage rapping every 10 words.

I think people only know Smino for the note hype side of his songs. But if you ever see him in concert his music seems more slow and jazzy over a rooted blend of r&b. Such a unique artist when you go further beneath the surface

That's what initially pulled me into his music, the soulfulness of it.

I was on the railing for this set: large dude with Afro, never listened to Smino prior, but fuck am I a fan now. That man put on a spectacle.

this is the 3rd performance I've seen from this guy and he just keeps getting better and better. If you haven't seen live, you need to. Greatness in the making.
