Little tip for longshots, the XTEN Angel-40 sight is basically an acog that has a range finder on it, so you can allways know when you are going to get a longshot.

Even better, for the ars, brs, Mrs, and srs, there is a 4.8x version of this scope. It doesn't work on LMGs or SMGs but for everything else especially the ARs it helps a tons

Maybe just for finding a good spot in your first game on the same map , after that you’re better off using a better sight you like.

Finished long shots with ease. Tip for anyone doing it: Hardcore hardpoint is most consistent. Build all SMGs with recoil/range dmg attachments, including a long range scope (I used forge tac delta) Use deploy cover to mount. You can use this format for all categories. Also found it easier switching to single fire for all auto weapons for this challenge. Good luck!

@@laOrzy yes, single fire for them too. The recoil on smgs with longer range sights is brutal because the sight jumps around too much. Single fire is better as you can still tap as fast as you feel you can accurately

I didn’t think it would hard getting long shots comparing them to mw2019 long shots so I went ahead and got all of my guns gold. That was until I got was on my 2nd AR when I realized I really f’d up doing all of my long shots back to back to back. I now have Orion but man was it a challenge getting 1000 long shots cause it was the most boring experience I’ve ever been through.

I made the same mistake. Just finished all the platinums and I'm so glad because now I can actually play the game again instead of just sitting there looking down an empty lane

On Shoot House lie down between containers and the Shenti House wall, it will count as long shots for most weapons and it definitely makes it easier for short range weapons.

From what I’ve seen the more zoom on a sight actually shows the recoil worse. I’d recommend either use iron sights or a red dot. I wouldn’t use the 4.0 sight. You see the recoil way more

I had a not fun time doing these but I managed to grind it out. I just found every angle I could get a long shot in shoot house and camped it. Up in the windows looking past the containers through the arch was my best place to get them.

On the fennec for long range you should use the 12 round mag. Used that in mw2019 and worked great!

That's why I've been grinding a platinum class along side my gold grind so I'm not left with all the longshots at the end of my gold grind

Longshots on the x13 were brutal too, only need 15 of them but it was torture lol

I think the problem with your pdsw might be the same one I had for the vel. It counts the kills without dying but doesn’t visually track them. So if you did get 3 kills without dying 10 times you would get gold still

When I'm working on stuff, I farm up to 3 ques before loading into a match, if I don't get shipment or shoothouse in those 3, I'll take what I can get, unless I absolutely hate the third map, then I'll do it once more, but it really makes getting grinding maps easy and more consistently.

I personally find mercado Las almas the easiest for longshots, it's a clear path and 2 easy mantle spots for easy control and a lot of people go there

Play tier one hard point and camp the outskirts of the objective at the range you need. With this method I got 3 weapon classes done within 2 days. (Of course by backing out of the maps that suck for this challenge)

Same dude when it comes to patience I just don’t have it lmao half way through the long shots rn

For anyone struggling with long shots, definitely try the tier 1 mode. The smaller health pool makes it much easier to kill at long ranges. I built my guns for range and put my guns on semi and was able to complete all my ARs and SMGs fairly easily. LMGs and Battle Rifles have the same longshot range as ARs, so same goes for them. Shotguns are fairly easy with slugs on ground war or invasion. I am dreading going for pistol longshots now.

You only need 20m for a longshot on a pistol so it's reasonable to do them on shipment. The sightlines around the sides are about 30m.

@@theterrablade4223 just finished my pistol longshots today in tier 1 it was fairly easy. I know you only have to be 20m for pistol longshots, but it was really satisfying getting some crispy one taps at long range.

SMG longshots as a challenge really makes no sense, as that is the worst range to use them at. That being said, once they put tier 1 on, that helped a lot. Just play Tier 1 Hardpoint and hold long angles near the point. Bit scummy, but it's the fastest method I've uncovered independently, and definitely better than laying prone in spawn or straight up camping. It's still camping but you at least rotate angles.

Longshots are easily the worst/ most annoying part of the camo grind. I hate having to camp to get them. I got Orion and then got gold on the dlc weapons but haven’t bothered getting longshots for any of them

you actually dont need to do gold on any dlc weapons. and if u already have orion u technically just have to do polyotomic challenge and thats it, it lets you bypass every other camo if u have the plat unlocked its wock asl.

For anyone trying to get longshots for the fennec use his build but use the 2tap rounds I forgot what their called,go into hardcore and pick ur maps,shoot house is a decent one if theres traffic,hydro,the racecar raceway is a good map and there's 2 more but I forgot their name,keep in mind if there's no traffic leave and find another,happy grinding u got this

Hardcore (Tier 1) was the best option for me doing most of my longshots, yeah the TTK is short, but that really helps when your damage starts to drop off after certain distances.

Smg long shots are a pain I'm getting mine on tier 1. I'm on 36 platinum with everything else gold. Thanks for your excellent videos.

My Mcpr3000 sniper is bugged similar to your SMG. I've literally got orion now bur the gold camo on this hun is locked and says 0/10 even tho I've got platinum and poly for it. Anyone know how do sort this been doinf my head in for ages.

i had that glitch on one of my battle rifles, for me to fix it, all i had to do is remove that weapon from the class (switch it for another) then switch back and my camos started tracking again... maybe it will help u too

I’ve found the market map the best for long shots with smg’s just hang out around c flag area, until you’ve racked up a few kills then get the full team coming for you 😂

Yes as I posted I didn’t watch but I still feel for those who don’t watch can read my comment and it aids them for people not with a lot of time

I went to tier one and used long range scopes with the smgs set to single fire it made them much easier

It's 12.5m for shotguns, 20m for pistols 38m for AR's, BR's, LMG's and marksman rifles 30m for smg's and 50m for snipers. Just unlock the tac angel 40 sight from levelling the taq v to level 11 or level the raal lmg to level 6 for a hybrid sight that has digital readout too to make it really easy

Any class of weapon you get gold on that has dlc weapons if you do dlc before one of the core it locks after plat tracking is unlocked for some reason but you can still do plat of that weapon that doesnt have gold

Long shots are tedious AF. Doing them all back to back 😂

Shoothouse on hardcore was a God send for me but unfortunately there isn’t a hardcore shoothouse playlist so I had to keep playing through different maps until I got shoothouse

Tier 1, filter to only domination and hard point. Embassy is the best map IMO. Tune said gun for range and damage. Managed to knock out my smgs in 1 day.

Turning my selector switch from auto to semi helped me with my longshots

I just got to doing longshots and I think its kind of a relaxing change from getting all the guns gold actually

I am so happy I'm not the only one struggling with smh long shots

A very efficient strat is to load up tier 1(hard point/domination) and only play taraq get into the tallest building on the map and watch how everyone feeds you. Another good map is race way just go in either of the long streets.I hope this helps

Teir one is the goat for longshots. But i recommend the xten angel-40 scope to show you ranges. so you know if your spot is longshot material or not.

Tier 1 helped me a lot, you can outgun others since the health is low, got over 16 per game

I got them all done by using the Helotherm Scope with Smoke Grenades…Makes it easy to take your time and pick ppl off..Hope that helps you 👍🏾

What i do is play tier 1 and if i see a map i don’t like i exit (you get to see a preview of the map before starting and i only play taraq and camp in the house usually finish a gun per game

best way for longshots in tier 1 hardpoint, for attachments put only stability, recoil, damage range, forget about ADS u dont need it really. for high recoil and high gun kick weapons, use a deployable shield. fastest way to get them done in my opinion got all smgs and 1 ar in about 5 hours.

They need to add grindcore from vanguard. Objective modes on big maps on a 24/7 playlist made the long shots so easy

A tip for the future is put the gun to where u have to tap the shoot button it makes it easier to control the recoil

I use the dixsom therma scope so you can see through the smoke and any person glows orange ans easy to.pick them out on shoot house

the only place i easily can do longshots is shoot house - on the wall - which they just removed - so hopefully you find some other spots in this vid

I got longshots done two days ago. Just run tier 1 until you get a good lobby and you can get 1-2 guns a game easily

I noticed the tap method works. Like he said you can get 2 or 3. Then it can get away. Quick taps seems to work to get kills. It’s working for me

I used coldblooded and a thermal scope for mine

11:18 yeah....um....well...I went in order getting each gun gold untill all of them were gold then I went through and did ALL the plat challenges back to back, and now I'm 42/51 poly challenges...

The dome on Hydroelectric to the balcony/ window across mud is a long shot with most weapons 🙂

Single shot on smg is working for me

tier 1 with the map hotel and embassy is the best for it took me a couple of games to do ars and smgs

I'm being dumb and waiting to do all of my plat camos after I get everything gold. I only have my launchers, knife, and snipers done. I'm definitely going to just steal your ideas and class setups though

My minibak is frozen at 2/10 on the gold challenge but the platnium challenge is unlcoked because i got the bas-p gold lol

I managed to get the longshots while playing Groundwar the fastes. Sure all the snipers can get annoying but its not that bad

Sorry about your pdsw still being bugged but I'm happy to say the bug for my snipers not unlocking the platinum challenge and being stuck at 3/4 gold even after all 5 were gold has been fixed and I now have all 5 snipers platinum

Hahahahahaha I just finished gold on everything Friday night and I worked on plat all day yesterday. I’ve now got ARs, BRs, shotguns, snipers, launchers, 2 pistols, 2 lmgs and 1 marksmans rifle plat. I’m probably gonna have everything else done by the end of the night tonight 😂
