Even if reine didnt wish for it, kay yu probably make her chara related to coin/rich just because reine is a princess in her lore (forbidden knowledge also back it up)

Someone did not read the Ult.😅 It is a "Hits on demand" special attack. You can punch up to 5 times, so you can punch 5 consecutive times, or punch once and keep the other punches for later.

Just a little tip but on harder stages you could try going into the settings and lowering the opacity of your attacks so its easier to see incomin attacks

Stage 2 Hard is straight up a Bullet Hell, I recommend turning attack opacity down to see better.

GSH Pills suits Reine well both gameplay and reference. She can hold on her ult and save the charges and use it within the next readied cooldown

Dodging the beam of the final boss is a bit difficult, if you don't know the trick. She bobs up and down as she moved across the screen, and that motion can stack with her slow aim adjustment if you move in the same direction. The optima strat to dodge it is to fully mirror her motion: if she goes up and left, go down and right. It's a bit similar to dodging Miko's flame breath from up close.

So the Reine lore is that she's a magical noble from another world that accidentally blew herself into this world in a magical mishap. Her magic is weaker, and the language of the peafowl is different. Unrelated to that, in the Early Access period, Calli gave a great name for builds that use Reine's skills and ult for coin farming. Making It Reine.

I loved your reaction to your first encounter with Nodoka (Stage 2 final boss). I also thought she was impossible to dodge at first.😂

Nodoka (final boss) can be a bit scary when you first face her. When she's flying around shooting laser at you try to stick close to her because she can adjust her aim very fast. When she stand still and release a bunch of bullets just run away out of her range and wait for her to finish

I recommend turning down the Attack Opacity in the settings before attempting hard mode stages, makes it a lot easier to see the enemy projectiles that way.

not an essential item for reine. her tonjok gives enough for her skill upkeep. ofc if you use superchat then greed is recommended since everything is collected immediately.

If you ever find yourself low on HoloCoins (furniture be expensive!), building around her Special attack might be the new coin grinding meta. • Reine Single Weapon • [Halu] [SupahChattoTime] [Idol Costume] [Candy Kingdom Sweets] [Stolen Piggy Bank] and dealer's choice on the last one • [Greed Stamp] [Explosion Stamp], dealer's choice on the last one. I like to have Solo Stamp, Attack Speed Stamp, and Lifesteal stamp sitting sitting around so I can alternate between them. * Fruit Cake Food • I'm not sure what stage is best yet My last run got 450k on Stage 1 Normal. For comparison, I usually got 100~200k on comparable Greedrys runs.

23:45 for that attack pattern you have to find the SSRB (bomb cat) that looks different and defeat it for a safe spot. Or you can just run through the enemies walling you in, it'll be less than the explosion.

+ knockback enchant adds to collabs. and works. in not endless stages (Yagoo's) its great

Yeah, that boss is tricky. When I play, I turn weapon transparency way down and bob backwards and forwards between the orbs. It's basically the game going a bit Touhou And peafowl is the species name for peacocks and peahens, the peahens being plain, brown and stealthy. I don't know if Reine's lore has anything to say about the obvious questions there, so I assume peafowl is just used for plausible deniability

Also I like her as she reminded me of the fun I had in Hyrule warriors playing as Fi from Skyward Sword

You can do the boss without destroying projectiles (that didn't exist till this patch anyway), just don't panic and focus on finding the gaps. If you really find it hard run away the further you are the bigger the gaps are and after about a screen and a half the bullets respawn, it's a slow way to kill her but it will work eventually.

Reine, the magical peafowl lady from another world, is elegant in a way... but she also punches. (She even had an animated redeem of her punching.) Two of her skills speak for themselves but the "Attention Please" skill is like her intro, also she feels like a teacher or announcer when she talks cuz she has an easy to understand clear tone of voice even while being energetic. She looks very lady-like and speaks quite fluently, which depicts an elegant lady... but she's a -idol- comedian at heart. Also, there's GWS and Halu which are actually references from her too. *GWS* or "get well soon" are pills that you take for *Halu* which means "hallucinating" or being crazy for her or the other girls... or just crazy in general. (Halu fans are strong in a way.) Halu being a glass of water matches well with the "get well soon" pills too lol Anyway, I really enjoy when you do these Holocure videos. They're fun and it's interesting to watch a different playstyle from mine.

Hard stages always have both normal mode stages at 10mins and then a new boss(es) at 20

I'm pretty sure you have to beat it in stage mode to unlock the next level

My reaction to seeing more than one boss was practically the same xD. I just started blasting the ults hoping bullet hell a-chan died. Also I think the game doesn't count as stage if you are on endless so if you where planning on unlocking the 3 hard level then it's better to go to normal stage. I think endless now it's for leaderboard

Holocure has its own "limit break" for a while and new items makes it even more powerful like infinite scaling of glasses, piki-piki piman per 4 point of your total HP and bettles which increase even further infinitely according to your lvl and HP. I just wish in future updates there will be stats upgrade for critical damage and area

How do you dodge that? (25:38) For the many balls attack I usually just run out of it's range. Though that puts the boss outside of my range, I make up for it when this attack is not being performed. The laser is easier to dodge when close to the boss so that you can quickly maneuver around her as the laser has a limit to rotational tracking and also has a small blind spot right next to her. Just be careful that you aren't too close when she decides to use a many ball attack. Also I don't think endless will count as a stage clear. (Probably, I have not verified or looked it up)

About the endless I think they changed it now that as long as you reach 30 mins in it counts as a clear.

@@arkweed777 I have done some primary research and on the stage select screen it does not show [cleared] on a stage that I have reached 30 mins on. Though I still don't know if reaching 30 mins will trigger the unlocking of a new stage, it is probably better to be safe and play stage mode.

Is there a setting in the game where you could at least lower the visibility of your attack, because it is hard to dodge enemy projectile if you look at that

There's a slider for your weapon attack opacity in the settings menu

Advice for next time you attempt Stage 2 Hard, I do believe you need to clear it on Stage Mode instead of Endless Mode, in order to unlock the next stage.

Yea, the issue is really that there is just a lot going on, especially planning wise. I think people (not meaning you, but because the comment of "DeX dOeSeNt ReAd" comes up often) forget quickly that content - at least for me - is not just me playing a game. I read everything but there is just too much going on. If it was just me playing the game, it would be a different story, but if you have a set plan in mind and in the back of your mind know your editing process, then things change a lot what you look for and what you focus on. And special abilities are usually my least concern because they don't have a ginormous impact on the success or failure of the video itself

I've put 20 hours into the new update so far and I've found 1(one) Super item in that entire time. I swear to god every time I watch some video of holocure they're getting bare minimum 1 a run.

haha, when you have so many skill effects going on that you cant see the boss and its attacks

Considering the difficulty you're having with reading enemy bullets, it might be time to adjust weapon opacity in the menu to make the screen easier to read.

As someone who’s beaten stage 2 hard with every character in version 0.5, here’s some tips for beating the last boss- -The laser she fires tracks your position. When the boss is firing its laser, you generally need to move in the opposite direction the boss is going. (If she goes up, move down). If she’s close, then switching sides with her will also likely make it miss. Just keep on the constant move. -She moves in a figure 8 pattern, occasionally stopping to do two different bullet hell patterns. When she does this, the best option is simply to run away to the edge where the bullets disappear. The patterns are hard to dodge and quickly eat through your health. The only time you should try and face her head on is if you have a special or ability that gives you several seconds of invulnerability like Fauna or Okayu.

Reine actually really needs as much coins as you can get in order to sustain the uptime of her Crit Damage boost. If your not being strategic with her ult usage or lean in to coin gathering items than you can miss out on a ton of damage unknowingly like in this run. So yeah this run wasn't exactly optimal for her especially with Holy Fire nerfing her crit rate.

Sort of ironic you eliminated the Pika Pika man as it'd synergize with her high max hp (0.6 changed its effect to boosting main weapon and special attack damage based on max HP) She's also a crit character, which are easier to gear for as the googles stamp now boosts crit rate. She's become popular as a money maker due to her special. Some can say more but while she dressses quite elegantly, she's more rambunctious than she looks. (Less mommy and more big sis) She's likely has a high bounce ball value as she is quite curvaceous with Kay taking notice of her 3d showcase. Also the Fandom system has been tweaked so maxing out G rank alone gets you to "Fan" (sliver, start with one random skill at lv1), though you'll maintain whatever level you built up in 0.5. Clearing stages (or hitting 30min in endless) adds exp (more for first times and/or hard modes) 0.6 removed the slow from the rain No idea if hitting 30min counts for stage clear unlocks. Also with the bombs, there's a weaker one so kill it and go in the spot it was in Green fans heal, red boost attack and blue boosts defense.

If you know new update change the boss all stage

Little tip : You can activate her special and not use the punch charges right away. That way the special bar will refill and practically you can have 10 consecutive Tonjoks!

The funny part is that this accidentally happened here but I didn't really make a connection as to why. I'm kinda used to seeing bugs (in general, not in HoloCure) so I assumed something went wrong

On the hard levels the amount of enemy fire you come under makes it so you really need to focus a bit on some defensive and healing abilities unless you have an absolutely insane DPS build that will just vaporize even high-level bosses in seconds.

Yea, I think it was close to killing the boss but hard mode requires tank builds. Like not full tanks, but pretty much the tankier you are, the easier it gets. I'm not the biggest fan of that personally speaking for content

Tonjok is in part, another gift/meme left behind by that legendary dragon of legend, coined during one of Reine's Indonesian lessons she does with other holo members, i don't fully remember the exact 1:1 context, but it involves the running joke of calling Reine a turkey, Tonjok meaning something along the lines of punch/fist Indonesian iirc, and...stuffing a turkey, like for American Thanksgiving So the fist jokes here are actually somewhat apt

It would be nice if you could store up the punches. Like activating the ult again adds more to it.

It is better to immedietaly press special. Your special will start charging and your charges wont time out even when it is fully recharged
