For someone with a fear of heights, Billy Corgan had BALLS OF STEEL to do that scene. Respect!
Billy Corgan has balls

like those tee balls flying at the screen at the beginning ! good on him for being able to do that ! i'm sure he felt proud of himself for doing that shitless with fear at the time but proud nonetheless!~!
holy shit... he was actually way up there... i thought it was screened. lol.
He had a fear of heights, yet he did it anyway. Nice..
now I have to watch 1979 and Perfect back to back
This song didn't remind me of 1979 at all, it just reminded me of The Cure. A LOT. Billy Corgan said that he took a lot of inspiration for many of his songs from The Cure so i think that this is one of those songs.
Billy's got balls, kudos to him for that.
The absolute madman.
Kudos to Billy for getting the crane shots. I too am not a fan of heights!
2:28 that voice crack tho
Love this kind of behind the scenes stuff🙌🏼👏🏼
I’m so glad this video exists.
Honestly my hands were sweating watching this

OMG SAME BROOOOOOOOOJOOOO
Wow, I've been thinking about this crane shot for a years. Not all the time, but when I see it. I figured Corgan was one of those freaks who isn't afraid of heights. lol I think it altered my image of him; yell hell, that dude can sit on the top of cranes. He's a little more down to earth in my mind now; the pun was the reason I said the last bit.

actually there was something off about his expression during his shots,- no I know it was him fighting his fear of heights. I never realized that the crane was that high

Thanks alot for uploading these, its so interesting. I'm gonna go buy the dvd.
I love this video
I never knew this was a sequel to 1979 and those were the original cast members!
i know they were down talking the video and i dont think they are wrong but to me what made it awsome was that crane scene, crazy stuff that one time that billy went the extra mile
was wondering if he really went up there, Billy looks so skinny in this video.
loction of where the crane was in real life would be cool to just go there and be like "they shot the music video for perfect right here how many odd years ago"

The location is in Los Angeles. Was filmed in the bragg cranes companies!
Thanks for sharing.
You how hard it was to follow? I watched both videos when they were released. All I knew was that it felt the same. Here I am in November of 2020 searching for videos like this because I have just read from the comments section that they used the same actors (same characters).

Greatest Hits Video Collection ^__^
Love the video 🤘
Billy corajoso não tem medo
Mad as fuck hahaha, i always thought that Corgan wasn't in that crane, that is was an effect.
Hello, can you turn on the English captioning with this please? It helps immensely for the deaf and hard of hearing, thank you.
It was so desperate to do a sequel to 1979. lol. I bought Adore as soon as I saw it at the mall, in some cd store, and loved it. I didn't follow all the drama with the charts and sales, I guess they werent great? but when this video dropped, I had no frickin clue what it was about, and thought it was very dumb, especially because it was all the actors from 1979, I think it was just kinda desperate, it made no sense. But the album is so good, so very 90s, and especially so very 1998. But, it'd be the last Pumpkins album I'd ever listen to.

The only known one was Giuseppe Andrews ( the kid with the tie/brown coat one from 1979). He also had a role in Independence Day along with his work with SP.

Fantastic album. Once upon a time, tear, crestfallen. Give it a couple listens. Cuz at first it sounds like dirt pumpkins. But it has a soul of its own.
