SMASHED & Stolen, Daniel Trolling | Ashville Weekly ep163

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This week at Ashville, we get the final bits in the new finance office complete. At the refurbishment project, work continues internally and externally.
There’s a big concrete slab to pour at the yard and a new lorry arrives.
Things go from bad to worse for Daniel as his defender is broken into, has his bag stolen and he gets smacked in the face.

One thing I do like is how much he's grown since his early videos, his early stuff he was the typical insufferable boss that expects his staff to only live for work and be there 3 hours early etc. He's mellowed out now, gives credit where it's due, trusts his staff to do what's needed and overall has a good relationship with them.

Daniel, stop beating yourself up worrying about how some may feel about your choices in information videos. I'm mid fifties, and have been impressed by everyone of your videos. You’ make me feel proud to want to be as consistent in the best you can be!. I wish I had half your skills and drive, I feel like I missed the boat now, but I enjoy seeing your company grow! Your care factor to making sure your staff are happy! My goodness half of management these days don't care! Your honesty is wonderful, your pride to tell everyone how far your going! That's your right, you worked for it. Just keep doing what your doing, the reviews and views will show what's needed in the world of KZreadrs

For the video graphic question. You should do it for you. You said it yourself that when you want to watch it 10 years down and be proud of the end product. I myself enjoy a great graphic explainer having to have worked for an animation studio I know the time and effort it takes and is always proud of the work. And I know your graphic guy must feel that it’s eating up his insides knowing he can do better given the time.

Your video is just what I needed to see today. I travelled 2-3 hours to take my children to watch the lionesses v Netherlands in Wembley on Friday. The trains were on strike, Wembley car park was full so booked a JustPark driveway for the driveway to be insanely unparkable (the owner does not even park on her driveway- told me after I couldn’t get my car out) resulting in my car being hit. Didn’t get to see England play and resulted in a damaged car, damaged property and children who never got to go to the football match with their football team but we are here to live another day 🩷 I feel for you! Don’t worry about it. Love watching your videos!!

I parked up at 21.45 and the back window was done at 23 03. There was nothing of value in the car they got away with an old stove and kettle and a brand new uniform. Being a big lad meself there isn't many folk round here my size so unless they are starting an M.C Hammer tribute band I can't see that holding any value. Enjoying the weeklys keep them up mate.

About the graphics situation you mentioned, here's my take as an author and book publisher. Like with every business aspect, that last 10-20% will take an inordinate amount of time and it might be worth it to you (as a creative) but the way I see, focusing on those details, is a diservice to the people who support us. I'm not saying I'm putting out garbage. I'm doing my best with every new book and push the limits of what I can do with my stories and edits. But if I obsess with my prose too much, it means that the next books is not coming. There are so many stories I want to tell and people would like to listen and the next story I put out will be better because I learned things and I have experienced more. So if I stay back and try to perfect one thing, I'm 'robbing' people of the next thing. And there is always a next thing. I know no author that struggles for ideas. What we struggle with is time. We will die before we're able write all of our ideas, so obsessing on details is the bad kind of selfish.

Is there anyone on staff to back up Flo in the LH-60 next time he goes on vacation? I came to the same conclusion about extended warranties on home electronics. For the amount they charge for the limited maximum claim, you are better off keeping the money and being your own insurer for the duration. Plus, by, leaving those potential loss claims off the system, your client profile for mandatory insurance purchases will suffer that bit less.

Mate, seriously the graphics are great but they are not the reason why I love watching you every Sunday. It’s your journey that I enjoy Daniel, not the graphics. I really appreciate the content with or without graphics. Thanks guys 👏🏻👏🏻👊🏻

As a newer viewer to this channel, here is why I watch, Daniel is well spoken, has a high drive to succeed in his business and to branch out to more businesses, I operate a small confectionery firm as well as working full-time as a forklift operator. You're an inspiration to me aswell sir. Cheers from Canada.
