Ive had the smartthings hub for over about 2 years now. Just recently got the samsung connect mesh wifi/hub for my home to replace my older smarthings hub since the newer Samsung connect can be used as a smarthings hub as well. My question is, how can i move all my sensors from one unit to the other without having to delete them from one and reconnect to other? Is there an easy way to do this? Thx for your help.

Greetings, I've seen that you have both hubs (smartthings and connect home pro) both work with the same app? Which one do you prefer? Do they work in the same way? I have a smartthings and I am analyzing whether to change to a connect home pro or if I already have the smartthings hub. I would appreciate your comment about it.

What would make this sell even better, is if it was a sort of 'plug and play' thing, that linked up with an account on an app/website control panel. Use a serial number verification, only allowing it to link with 1 account.

When you say each device acts as a smart things hub, will this essentially extend my zwave network for my distant smart home devices? I have a detached garage with smart home devices that constantly drop off my smartthings network. Will the connect home 3 pack resolve this issue?

I want a z-wave switch to control a z-wave outlet DIRECTLY (i.e. turn a light on or off) without my phone or tablet in the loop. I want to physically turn the switch off & on switch thus controlling the outlet. How can I integrate (pair) the two z-wave devices to do this? Can I do this using smart things or some other modality?

Highly doubt that. Maybe not custom _modems_ (the bit that their coax or phone line connects to), but any network devices beyond that are strictly out of their control. You can plug a router into your modem's ethernet out and configure it however you like.

he asked for the "canucks game" so alexa said the canucks score first and then the other score second this way you actually know whos winning. if she just said "3,0" how the fuck would u know whos winning? and yea i understand she could say 3,0 for the "insert team name" but that would be much harder to code as it adds more variables
