We can use STR-W6053 instead of 5-24 volt power Module isn't it?.

Hi there Tevz, I noticed that you removed the 2 surface mount resistors connecting the opto coupler to the rest of the circuit and installed a 10nf cap in parallel across the two pins of the opto coupler. It's the first time I have seen you doing this. And I watch all your videos. Have you changed the way you do the modification or am I sleeping...?

I added the ceramic capacitor because there is a resistor that is series to the optocoupler and I removed that resistor. the optocoupler now has no capacitor, In some of my videos I dont add ceramic because the board has already a capacitor. see this really needs a capacitor. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aGV-1tGdf8SzprQ.html

sir, please change your solder wire and use flux, you will have a lot cleaner tasks.and also clean the tip of your iron with tip cleaner.

I've seen all your power modification videos, but I've never seen you remove components the way you did here. Why do you have to remove them? Won't it work with those extra components you removed? I understood why you had to remove the 2 resistors in series to the optocoupler, you didn't have to add an external capacitor again if you didn't remove the resistors because the capacitor was already there. Why did you have to remove the diode from the board?

Hello master, I am working on the same TV board, the FET transistor is faulty and I have replaced it with 6053s. Now the secondary voltages seems to be low, I am getting 3.1v and 12vdc for the screen side. Could it be the chopper transformer is defective? My vcc voltage starts from 15v and becomes stable at 12v. Please any suggestions?

I've got an issue with a Samsung 32 inch TV Model LE32R88BD, has standby, comes on with audio of static for 1 second, followed by loud crackling noise on speaker and immediately dies, I've inspected the boards, nothing blown, no shorts. Noted some SMC aluminium caps at 1000uf 25v look a little domed. I removed the logic board shield and saw 2 more with a dark grey circle above them on the shield, if I left the set long enough it will come on. Also would you say a 470 uf 25V capacitor tests as 399 uf is bad?

399 could be just okay but try to replaced it. Its seems a filter capacitor really the problem.

@@tevzTVTevatronics remember the 32 inch Samsung TV I was attempting to fix, fixed it. The caps under the shield on main board were toast. My first ever TV fix.

A 32 inch screen mostly its a HD, a 40 inch screen is Full HD.
