I’ve been looking forward to this video ever since you did the live stream of you fitting the radiator pipes in that downstairs toilet. I was not disappointed! Other than I have just renovated my own downstairs toilet with a wall hung pan and now I wish I’d installed this beast instead 😢😢😢

I was only made aware of these a few days ago as someone had seen then in the Melbourne casino and looked it up on the web. Plumbing has surely changed since my time. I don't think I would have been able to keep up with it all. I go back to lead, cast iron etc. Greetings from Australia

Hi , I have just had a smart toilet installed with the a Vitra Automatic flush plate. Plumber has left it without flushing! The shop got the automatic flush working. The plumber had to come back to correct things. Now the automatic flush is not working. Is it a case of just powering off toilet , waiting for 15 mins ad putting back on or is there something different I must do. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Great question! Our V-Care Prime has a new flex-hose that has a non-return valve inside to prevent back filling 🚽

Looks like a fantastic install and toilet. Just a little too complicated for my liking. What could possibly go wrong a year or 2 later🤔 Then it would probably be a nightmare to fix if one had to remove tiles

Nah.... don't sweat it. If something were to go wrong, James would just ask the supplier for another [free to him] unit. 🤫 Plus as a bonus... it'd give him the opportunity to get rid of them hideous tiles with that equally hideous black grout. 😉 🤣🤣🤣

Don't know at what quality Turkish enamel is, if its made there. Can't beat V&B or Grohe TBH.

How would you gain access to assess a leak?

Hi Darren. Like a lot of things you have to make a call to balance time between the two. Therefore I now work very locally for my current friends and customers and now don’t go looking for new work in the world of plumbing. Strangely, doing PP means I do far more wide ranging plumbing jobs! Regardless I’m thankful you still watch the channel, and hope you enjoy my other ventures @lifeindeep and @timeswithjames

Main benefit is that it's completely waterproof unlike MRP which will eventually disintigrate if there's a leak behind it or in a shower where the grout has failed.

Advantages are... water resistant properties... partially insulated ... rigid flat surface less prone to flexing/breaking like basic plasterboard products and offers a textured surface to aid tiling. 🤔
