Brilliamt. So, Can i upload 500gb file and use SharePoint as my repository for the big files. And when needed download the files to local file share?

Yes, there is no file size limit. Your 500GB file will be streamed directly to Azure Blob Storage. And in SharePoint you will have an empty Document Library Item pointing to the 500GB blob. In SharePoint you can modify the Document Library Item as normal including rename and assigning metadata. Also, the Item can be copied and moved to any site within the tenant. Copy/Move takes no time since the file from SharePoint's perspective is < 1k in size. And yes you can restore the file to any FlieShare at any time.
