I had a Smart Fortwo just like yours as yours is a passion spring edition as well (speakers on dash a tell tale sign) and I loved it, without a doubt one of the best cars I have ever owned. Spent a fortune on it different wheels and tyres brabus stuff a remap and more but well worth it. Fun in a small package and now want another thanks to your video and JM. This time might try to eek out a Brabus red edition cabby… wish me luck!

Haha. Another one that loves (not hates) the marmite car 😁 I love mine and enjoy driving it as often as I can (hopefully shows on the videos). I still think many of the people that don’t like them have never even driven one. They have their quirks but I think it adds to the character. I too am hoping to find a Brabus one day. Looking at some in Canada around 2005 - 2010...gas or diesel? A bit more power with gas?

In the UK the gas (petrol) models have more power. Diesels sound like Ford Transit vans.

That is not easy as of course it depends on how well looked after the car was. Mine has 18k miles on the clock and lived inside a Motorhome. I have since spent a few hundred pounds at a Smart specialist including full service, all plugs, filters, belts, brake fluid, anti freeze, gearbox oil and a shock absorber. The specialist looks after an almost identical car with over 290k miles although it has had 2 engine rebuilds.
