I JUST BOUGHT MINE AND MY FIANCÉES TODAY. He is the heat source so I made sure he got the sun. We got them bc we can feels each others soul but just to validate how we feel we can say sorry if we are being stubborn and dont know how to say it. I believe it could help us both.

I cannot replace the battery, I have tried for 4 days now. I ordered the battery it calls for, but it won’t fit. I received my bracelet without a battery, so it won’t charge or work. i have contacted them twice now with no response. When I unscrew the back of the bracelet, there is no space to fit any sort of battery. Is this a manufacturing problem, or is there some sort of paper thin battery that they didn’t list in their directions?

I know they do now sell both the battery version (like this video) and a rechargeable version (permanent irreplaceable battery that just recharges). If you have a battery version, the back unscrews and the battery is right there. It looks like a button battery so should be obvious, though you might need a little pin or paper clip to get it to pop out.

First, make sure each bracelet is connected to each phone via bluetooth - that's the most obvious thing. The trickier part is making sure the app on each phone is able to run in the background. Both iPhones and Android will kill background processes on apps not being used so you have to make sure you've set your phone to let this app run in the background so that it can receive notifications and send them to the other person and their phone can send to the bracelet. That is the key and unfortunately can be tricky because of the way phones work.

@@kaileytran2949 Yes. Your phone can handle multiple bluetooth connections of this type. These are BLE so they are using very little data and obviously no sound.

I was concerned about that, but it didn't seem to actually. I mean the app doesn't have to be open in the foreground - just running in the background like a lot of apps do. It seemed to use minimal battery. The issue is sometimes it seems the phone will close the app without you knowing. OR if you set your phone down and walk to a different part of the house then the bracelet will disconnect and it won't automatically reconnect when you get back to your phone - you'd have to open the app and reconnect for it to start working again. So, they don't work perfect or flawlessly, but as long as you know that going in, they are still very cool and look great even when there's no light.

Where should I order from?

Hi, hoping you’re still checking comments. My boyfriend got us a pair as a late christmas present. We’re still trying to figure out how to send the “I love you” message without the use of the app. Trying to triple tap only pulls up the “miss you” message. Are we doing something wrong?

Inside the app you can set up what the taps do and what colors correspond - some colors are harder to decipher than others.

@@TheRealJasonRamsey So far as I can tell specific messages/signals can only be sent directly in the app. A tap on the bracelet itself is meant to always be an “I miss you. I’m thinking of you” kind of nudge.

You got it mostly! You connect your bracelet to the app. He connects his bracelet to the app. Then in the app you connect to each other - that's how the app knows when you tap your bracelet who to send the signal to.

My favorite one is a hard one and it also has a charger you can buy one you have to buy one because

Hmmmm. You might try reaching out to their customer service. You do have to have the right permissions for the app to run and it has to be running in the background for it to work. Some phones will kill the app so then it can't do it's thing if you don't have it set up correctly.

Do you get to set what the different colored phrases mean or are you limited to phrases the app has preloaded? Like in the video one message was 'Sorry' could I instead change it to something like 'Good luck'.

Is the moon and sun bracelets for long distance with the milan rope comfortable on the wrist ? I just purchased for me and my partner … I thought it would be easier to take on and off … and hoping they are comfortable .

I think so - that's the one I kept for myself and wear. Like any bracelet taking it on and off using just one hand can be a challenge, but generally speaking it's not that hard and it's definitely comfortable to wear.

Imagine if the instructions were good, imagine if the double triple tap function worked, imagine if customer service responded.

After you connect in apps and the bluetooth after a days what if I dont have internet? if possible to send a vibrate into the other bracelet? without internet?

Nope. The bracelet only communicates with the app on your phone. Your phone app then communicates through the internet to the other person's phone and the app on their phone which then communicates to their bracelet. No internet = no communication.

Mine isn't vibrating!? WHY? it's really ticking me off😞

I can only vouch for the Totwoo brand on Amazon. That's where I got mine from. I don't know if the others are cheap copies or what.

Pretty much that's it. It is handled through an app which can be important since someone might miss the bracelet flashing if they are busy in which case there'll still be an app notification. It wouldn't be that cool if the bracelets weren't nice (because of course you could just sent a text message), but the bracelets in my opinion or awesome and look great and are a constant reminder of that other person even besides the cool messaging part.

The bracelet MUST be connected to your device (phone or tablet) and the device must have an internet connection for it to work. The bracelet will not be able to receive any notifications if it's connected to your iPad but your iPad isn't with you and connected to the internet.

May I ask would the battery drain be significant due to Bluetooth connection (I am talking about my phone)

Not really. It uses BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) which uses a negligible amount of your phone battery for the connection.

Mine actually didn't vibrate - the newer rechargeable battery ones do. I'm not sure if you can turn one or the other off though since I didn't have that feature on mine. If I had to guess, I'd guess no...

If you have the battery version the bottom unscrews. The batteries only last about a week or so because they are so tiny, but they are also cheap to buy and easy to replace.

Yes. Location is irrelevant. What matters is data connection. Your bracelet has to be within range of your phone (everything goes through your phone) and your phone must be connected to data. So if your husband is in the mountains of Chile and there's no service, it won't work. But if he's in the city and his phone is connected to data, it will.

You basically go into the app and create account and add your bracelet. Then the other person does the same (different account). Then in the app you enter the username of the other person to connect to.

The distance is irrelevant. So long as the bracelet is connected to your smartphone (via BLE) and your phone is connected to data it'll work. I will say after having this for a while, it's not perfect. I mean due to the fact that it's running on a super tiny battery and due to the fact that it has to be connected to the app which has to be running, it doesn't work "like magic" the way you'd hope it would. If both people are fairly techy and don't mind the time/energy you need to put into it for them to stay synced then it's cool. (The lamps TooWoo makes work way more flawlessy since they are powered and connected directly to wifi.)

Does it has any fixed distance or we can connect it in any range ? I want to know this then i am thing to buy it.

Distance between the two people is irrelevant. But the bracelet must be within close proximity to your phone and connected to your phone - all communication goes through the phone and then through the internet, so the bracelet must be within a decent range of your phone and your phone must be connected to data.

Honestly don't know for sure. I think you should be able to do that based on the way it's set up, but I can't say 100% since I have not tried that myself.

none of that matters. They do not connect to each other. The bracelet connects to your phone. the phone relays info through the internet. Distance is irrelevant. the bracelet must be close enough to your phone to connect to it and your phone must be connected to data via your mobile plan or wifi. that's all that matters.

Yeah, it'll work. So long as you have a phone and it is connected to data (by a data plan or wifi) it doesn't matter where in the world you are. I would only say that it can be a little difficult if someone isn't at least a little tech savvy or at least good at following directions. In order for it to work well, you have to set up the app and make sure it's given the permissions it needs and is able to run in the background (since the app is really the brains of the whole thing and it just sends the signal to the bracelet). And keep in mind if wearing all the time the batteries have to be changed out about every week or two, but they are very cheap to buy in bulk on Amazon or similar places. Anyway, the good thing is the bracelets themselves are great looking and cool and the app and stuff is like a nice bonus.

It's tricky. The app doesn't have to be "open" per se. But it does need to be "active" - it has to be able to "run in the background." It's different with Android and iPhone, but both will by default put an app "to sleep" if it's not being used so you have to make sure you change the settings so that it doesn't do that.

If you're asking how far/close the bracelet needs to be to your phone, it's using Bluetooth to connect to your phone so generally 15-30 feet max which can vary based on your phone's capabilities and other interference.

It's hard to tell without having it in my hand, but things to check are 1) Battery 2) App must be allowed to ALWAYS run in the background on the phone 3) Bracelet must be connected to the phone via bluetooth - For most people #2 is the hardest. A lot of phones will close the app if you haven't changed settings on your phone to allow the app to run in the background and never be closed.

The ones I reviewed are not rechargeable - just battery operated. I don't have the rechargeable ones myself, but I would assume each bracelet would have it's own charger, though you should double check that in the product description to make sure.

The quality does seems to be good - I still have the bracelet. BUT, I tend to buy things like that thinking I'm going to wear them all the time and I wear them for a few weeks, then only a day or two for the next few weeks, then not at all. So I still have it and it still looks great and all, but I can't say I've been wearing it all the time - it's mostly in my drawer now (with all the other bracelets I've gotten over time).

None of the ones I reviewed are waterproof so no, you can't wear those in the shower. I don't know if they have any new versions that are waterproof - you'd have to check the specifications. Also, for whether you're getting one or two, check the info on the listing and/or verify with the seller. I don't work for them and don't know about every listing.

Takes a CR1225 button battery. The good news is they are super cheap so you can buy a ton of them for very little money. The down side is the battery only last about a week or so - you'll need to replace it fairly often.

I'm not 100% sure. I'm pretty sure you can connect more than one, but I don't know if you can only connect in pairs or if you can say connect 3 bracelets as a "group bond."

If using this battery model you'll probably have to replace it every two weeks. Seems like a lot, but it is simple and the batteries are super cheap. However, there are newer models with a built in rechargeable battery. It's okay if it gets a little splash while washing your hands, but it is not rated for water so should not be worn in the shower or allowed to get heavily wet. No worries with rusting in my experience. Check the Amazon link for specific warrant info.

@@crime101010 There are two versions now - the replaceable battery version I have and a newer rechargeable version. Maybe the rechargeable version is waterproof? The one I have with the replaceable battery is definitely not waterproof! Water resistant maybe so it's okay if it gets a little wet due to rain or washing your hands, but definitely not waterproof for wearing in the shower or while swimming!

Just flash! Vibrate would use way too much power on such a small battery. It is easy to miss the flash if you're not looking, but that's why they also do the phone notification...

No. It's all done through the app. You create an account with the app - your bf creates an account in the app. Then when you pair yours in the app, you give the info for your bf's account (profile name or something) and it connects that way.

So did you get this free or got paid by the company? It's a psych issue with reviewers being overly positive in their review even if they claim and think they can do an unbiased. And it seems like you're discussing the features but doesn't sound like you used them for days or weeks to talk about performance or battery life. And the reviews for this thing are not great, many people who buy it seem to find that after connecting the bracelets and testing them only about half of the nudges go through. That is of course not the same thing as having it disconnect and pairing it again. Was there any such experiences?

Hey there - All great and fair questions. I did not get paid by the company. The company did send me the products to test and review. I used them several weeks before I made the review. I used them a little while after that, but my spouse decided he didn't like wearing the bracelet even though I did so that ended that. I think some of the issues are tech challenges - this is a super techy gadget and it's definitely not as simple as it would be if Apple were making these and they only worked with iPhones and everything was just automatic. With these you do need to be a little tech savvy. Battery life as I mentioned in the review was short with the need to change out the battery about every 7-10 days, but the batteries are super cheap. they make rechargeable ones now, but not when I got these so I have no idea about how those last. Hope this helps answer your questions!

Yeah, probably not so good for that purpose. You could give him an AirTag or the MoMax Pin Tag and then randomly ping it to let him know you're thinking about him. Of course the teacher might not be so thrilled with a random beeping noise going off all the time... ;-)

It uses BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) so it doesn't use a lot of battery power, but if your phone isn't great on power to begin with it might be a concern.

What if i am in some place and my partner is 5000km away from me.?

Distance is irrelevant. All that matters is that your bracelets are connected to your phone and your phone is somehow connected to the internet (via Data or Wifi).

Distance is irrelevant. Each bracelet just needs to be connected to a phone that is running the app and connected to data.

So it doesn’t vibrate as the ad made it look like 😂

I think some do. I think maybe the ones with rechargeable batteries do. But the ones with replaceable button batteries don't - because that would burn through power even faster.

It won't work without it being connected (constantly) to a phone - that's how data gets relayed.
