    Hey Mc, great video!! I have a question: In the layer box of my software there are no dashes under the little bone icon. Why are they absent? How can I obtain them? Thanks for the video.

    I almost gave up on the smart actions on characters with target bones (it wouldn't work) my character had boots for the foot and it was part of the leg! two bones one shape. Thanks for the clear tutorial. Im not exactly a beginner anymore but it still gets confusing which method can be used depending on the type of character and animation you are doing. (that could be an endless array of tutorials) great work thank you!

    Does anyone know how to create the illusion of a character moving his arms or legs forward or backward I'm having some trouble with that

    McCoy do you think that moho 12 has reached The level that I can use the software for image animation As opposed to vector. I feel that animating my rasters is more true to my art style then tracing my rasters into vectors.

    So I got a question with this software I want to create a character that can turn around bend and tumble forward and backward and a combination of the two Question is can smart bones do this I’ve tried it and the bones keep conflicting with each other I guess what I’m asking is what are the limitations of smart bones and the software in general

    Hey every time I move my smart bone for my eyes my front arm jumps....the arm is not "point bind" to the smart bone...I'm so confused on why this is happening

  • @iraceruk
    @iraceruk5 жыл бұрын

    Hi McCoy. I'm confused as to how you knew which leg bone was causing the 'pinch'. How did you know that the bottom leg bone was the culprit and not the top leg bone causing the bottom one to pinch when the bottom bone was moved? This is is where I get in a total mess with bones. If something goes wrong (which happens to me EVERY time!), I never know which bone to tweak to make things right, and I inevitably ruin my rigging.

    Teacher because when I have everything set up my character and I go to smart bones timeline my character disappears and I can't work on it I repeat that's when I click on the smart bone timeline my character disappears ?

    Wow, what a mess! I never had this "pinching" problem with Anime Studio. I'm wondering if it is because I'm using characters created for Anime Studio in Moho, and Moho converted them differently.

    What if we correct that points without having action or smart bone.we can also do it in time line manually ?

    Hi Mccoy, is there any way that when a bone has samrt bone actions and I change its name, the actions change their names too adapted to the changing of the bone?

  • @McCoy_Buck

    Unfortunately not, you will have to go through and rename the actions to the same name of the smart bone, a little tedious but shouldn't take longer than a few minutes :)

    +McCoy Buck Hi there I'm a former Udemy student of yours and will sub to your new class but I'd like to ask if you could provide a way for you to view and critique my character creations and animations. I contacted Smithmicro and asked them if they could come up with a course where a Moho user, debut and pro could could receive a Moho certification from online tutorials in phases from basic to intermediate to advances to pro according to their webinar product teachers. A student could complete the Basic certification then receive or sign in on a web site for a final exam asking them to for example design and color a character with background and other tasks and upload it to be graded on it and within like 5 days receive a certification and critique if passed or a critique and a review class lesson courses then reapply for beginners certification. that way at each level of completion you can be rated on skill of expertise by Talented Moho approved expert Tutors and program designers.

    Hey +maddchem01 I will try to answer all of your questions and suggestions in order. 1. I think having a Moho/ Anime Studio curriculum is something that most feel like they are missing and might help. I am in the process of writing a book and have that on my to do list of things I would like to accomplish. 2. Regarding certifications, you get one for each course of mine you complete on Udemy. These certifications can be downloaded and printed. 3. I think it's a cool idea but to be able to critique students is going to take up a lot of time and resources. For Smith Micro they are a corporation. If it doesn't make money they won't be interested. With me I'm just one person trying to get by all the while helping as many people as I can. 4. You can submit your animations and such via Udemy and ask for critique there. Only problem is, I haven't set up my courses like that so students are aware that, that is an option. I hope this answered some of your questions. Again it's a good idea but something I can't afford to invest my time into unfortunately Best regards, McCoy
