Smallville's Justice League - Caravan Of Garbage

Ойын-сауық

People may be loving Zack Snyder's Justice League but little known fact but not really Smallville introduced a very early days live action version of the team in the Season 6 episode, Justice. Featuring a team up between Clark Kent, Cyborg, Aquaman, Impulse and Green Arrow it certainly is something and a series of events happen until they don't because the episode is over. If you actually watch the show, the women are just as badass and equal to the men and they do have a woman on the team…a few, actually, as the show moves forward. Each gender on the show treats each other equally. You wanna see some great fight scenes? As the characters get established and the storyline moves forward, the women throw down in this show…each of them do and they are some of the best female fight scenes I’ve seen on tv. It’s one of the few examples where this is the case in tv/cinema.

To this day, I still look fondly back at Smallville. I've seen the entire series 3 times over now, and have embraced their story choices and design choices, which weren't great. I was 13 when this aired, so I was completely blind to the company details behind certain choices, like, why Impulse, "when's Batman?", "why didn't Martian Munhunter join them?" he first appeared 3 episodes ago, and "why Cyborg, why isn't he with the Titans?" Finding most of those answers years later proved that this show was a miracle with those restrictions. ( Cyborg being yhere seemed like a Geoff Johns idea, it's why he was promoted to founding member in so many incarnations now. Also, Michael Rosenbalm, the best on screen Lex)

I honestly think the first 3 seasons were good; not any individual episode necessarily, but as a whole, the first 3 seasons hold up well enough. But then the show was successful, they kept going instead of wrapping up the story in 4 seasons, so they just spun their wheels for, what, 5 more seasons? I think the 4th season actually had a lot of fun episodes, but the 5th season really started to show the cracks. What they SHOULD have done was lift the "no tights, no flights" restriction once the show got picked up for more and more seasons. I think the problems with the show are largely a result of keeping those restrictions that could've worked for 4 seasons or so, but not 8. (Or however many it was; I think 8 but I'm not going to look it up.) I mean, there were other problems, of course, but for its time, it was fine except for stubbornly sticking to the original conceit despite doubling the show's length.

I remember being slightly disappointed in the finale after the first watch, but I've come to appreciate this show. It really was the only super hero show on TV for a long time. Superman has always been my favorite, i grew up with this take on the character, so I'll always be a little biased and nostalgic torwards it. I'll look over the flaws. @@Sulufy yeah it also has this sunset orange sometimes that is also present in my childhood favourite movies the Spider-Man sam raimi trilogy. I don't know if you get what i mean but it's this orange warm colour present idk if it was the cameras or some filter.

I spent all 10 years of Smallville's run watching alongside my father, so the series holds a special place for me. Also, please do the Justice Society episode.

5:02 looking back at it now, I'm pretty sure his neo-esque suit was meant to be their interpretation of his black solar suit, considering the fact that he fought Doomsday in the season before just like in the comics.

Tom Welling is my favorite live action casting as Clark. All the casting like his parents and Lois are spot on too. When they do the Blur stuff in later seasons he isn't a great Superman though.
