Tess actually made out with Clark's doppelganger Clark Luthor from an alternate Earth, but it was later in this season. But Tess did actually develop strong feels for Clark himself during this season as a result of that makeout session.

@The Ghost of Gotham Also,Darkseid and Doomsday on "Smallville" were baby versions compared to their more fully-developed Comic Book Counterparts.It`s also strongly hinted in the ending that Lex`s increasing corruption will one day allow Darkseid to return stronger than ever.

I wouldn’t say Clark was ever afraid of Darkseid. He was afraid of embracing his destiny and letting go of his life in Smallville. It’s when he realised he could be Superman and still hold on to his Smallville roots that he was finally able to overcome his fear.

@@markrobinson9394 Wrong. He IS Superman, he just didn't know what the name would be, but that's who he is. He's afraid that he won't be able to live up to people's expectations, it has nothing to do with letting go of his "life" in Smallville.

Clark IS Superman and he did "fight" Darkseid - they used a planet to signify Darkseid.

I love this show in a way I like the way they changed Darksied but at the same time I don't I wished they would have went all out

Not to mention that Clark at this stage of his life shouldn't be able to truly defeat Darkseid. Well it was more like his essence and not Darkseid himself it seemed like.

huntcd2012 yeah it was essentially his essence. But this is a Clark who is more like a post crisis Superman with silver age Superman experience. In other words even though he didn't become Superman until 25 and had a record of saving people in secret, he already had experience with dealing with superhuman and big threats to react to Darksrid accordingly

He doesn't put on the "suit" until 25, but clearly the suit DOESN'T MAKE THE CHARACTER - just look at the shitty movies. He's been saving people since he was a TEEN, which tells you that he's ALREADY Superman, that's the character bro.

@@radicalreactions1633 That’s not the point. The point was whether Clark at this stage would be able to face Darkseid or not. And at the this stage, he was wondering what his role as a superhero should be and how he can inspire people as a public figure. Yes, he was saving people since a teen but there’s a difference between reluctant hero who couldn’t embrace his humanity and Kryptonian self, vs the Clark who was ready to step up as the world’s savior. Hence why it was facing Darkseid (the embodiment of evil and a cumulative trial of everything Clark faced over the last 10 seasons) where Clark finally felt like he was ready to step up as Superman, which was the entire point of the show.

I believe if anything, Covid was more of a preview. At least with Covid, we could still buy food and water, and go places. When the time of the real Mark and the rise of the antichrist gets here, which it will happen. It’s just a matter of time. We won’t be able to do anything without receiving the mark. The mark will basically become the new world currency. And there will be, billions of skeptical nonbelievers. They will think that God and the antichrist and the Mark and all of that is nothing but a bunch of BS. They will be the ones that fall so quickly to Satans plan. The irony of his evil is that it’s not the monstrous, scary, demonic image, that we see in exorcism movies. It’s very subtle, appealing, attractive, charming, basically any positive words you can use to describe something. But in the same hand, just like I’m sure you’ve seen in any Satan/exorcism movie, he never gives you what you want without it having a price. End of the day, ask yourself this… what was so intense and horrible about Covid (a virus with a 90%+ survival rate), that not only did it put the entire world on lockdown for an extended period of time, but it’s STILL, 3 years later, being warned about and heavily encouraged to get a vaccine for, some states still have strict protocols for it, I think at one time even the military was requiring individuals to get the vaccine before enlisting, etc. ? Same thing is gonna happen with The Mark. But on a much more intense, global, and harsh scale.

Negan It's worth noting that "apokalypsis" in Koine Greek from the original text of that book translates into "revelation" in English. And Apocalypse is the obvious transliteration of the original word. Thus, to say the "Apocalypse of St John" is to say the "Revelation of St John".

TBAGNFACEFUKER Yes he is old and badass, still in great physical shape. Look at injustice or Justice League movie post credits to see him unmasked. He isn't supposed to have a receeding hairline. BTW when I say injustice I mean lookswise. I understand superman is not usually evil and that game is crazy.

This scene would have been cool but the speech came in too late. Clark should have told the others immediately. Instead we need to have Lois tell Clark. Not to mention turning Darkseid into sin instead of being the devil. Darkseid brainwashes, not corrupts!!

@BeyondEnchantment i agree with almost everything u said EXCEPT arrows "green arrow'" being better than smallville's, he's not better AT ALL and i'll tell u why: arrow's version is basically batman with a bow and arrow. he's very stoic, cocky, and REALLY doesn't seem to have a sense of humor. but smallville's green arrow is portrayed just like the comics, still a great fighter and archer, and a nice guy. where arrow's is like the flash on their crossover even put it "is a douche" (haha) and is a bit stuck up. smallville's green arrow is serious when he needs to be and he DEFINITELY likes to make some jokes. smallville's is MUCH more lovable imho (:
