My favourite kayak design, I ended up in a Recon HD, but have a lot of appreciation for the rudder setup for adding a motor. Burley Pro has many accessories for the Native platforms.

Hi Aliex, love your walk throuh. This helps a lot. What it the best way to motorized this thing? perfo/money wise. Have a great season.
Love my 12.5. I fish out of the everglades (flamingo and everglades city) often and do multi day camping trips so need the extra capacity. Would love to see you demo the 10 on water and learn the difference even though my 12.5 is going nowehere. The instant reverse is absolutely needed for fishing the mangroves or docks.
WHAT COLOR IS THAT! The one you are showing has an olive color mixed in which looks awesome, not advertised on their website. I have the 2022 model in grey goose, love it. I was very unsure of the 10 vs 12.5 when I was buying but so glad I went with the 10, it carries everything I need and is lighter.
Anyone that has one of these can you please tell me how long you’ve had it and what your likes and dislikes are? I’ve been researching kayaks for about a year now and getting ready to get one. This one has all my needs covered I think. I’m looking for peddle drive kayaks with a swivel seat,mostly 10 foot for suv roof loading capability,but not opposed to bigger. Thanks in advance.

Great kayak but the lack of ability of the pedal drive to collapse up when hitting an object like Hobie’s Mirage drive must be noted for potential buyers. I am sure the drive on this kayak is sturdy but any drive can only take so many collisions

This thing is far stronger than a hobie drive, if you hit the rocks it will pop inside the hull and the chances of breaking are minor, hobie fins will break way easier, way
Love the videos, Alex! What do you think about the Slayer vs the smaller Titan? I've been thinking about these and then debating about waiting for that Feelfree Airship RIB-style kayak to come out so I don't have to deal with a trailer.
Nice kayak... Unfortunately here in Brazil we can't buy this one. And to bring to here is very expensive! It's hard to get one good yak here.

I have a question off topic of this kayak. Why isn't pelican making the catch 130 anymore? I made a big mistake last month and sold mine to a friend. And now the only thing pelican thing they have is the 110? Is that true, or is that just with the lady on the phone told me because she didn't know any better? I found a used one but it's going for more than what I sold mine for! LoL..... And out of all the kayaks I've had that's the most rounded for everything kayak! Except for standing!

@@AliexFolgueira That's crazy because you are the reason so many people bought their boat, including myself! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't had even looked at pelican for a pedal drive. But I do have to say it has been one of my favorites because of the lightweight, and speed for the money!

How stable is the Native compared to other kayak brands 🤔

Old Town Sportsman 106/120 are both more stable than the Native Slayer Max, the Native Titan is also more stable probably the most stable kayak. But that doesn’t mean the Slayer Max isn’t stable, it’s more than enough.

Slayer max is very stable you will not have any issues with standing, if that's your thing 😀

Kayak companies need to seriously consider a transport or wheel system into kayaks. If you're alone, picking them up and lugging them into the waters edge is the most difficult part!

Just stay away from the landing gear....it sounds good but if you launch at even semi rustic spots they can be a huge PITA
