That's why it is SPECIAL city because it is small and quaint and NOT touristy. Thanks for showing us! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Im grew up in a small town on the edge of New York City, it was very interesting because you got to know people, the only down side was that everyone knew your parents and as a child you couldn't get away with anything!

This is my Xmas present!!! I miss Japan so much! It reminds me of many many times I've been walking to everywhere in Japan.. I can't wait to get back for good (I hope) next year... I will be studying Japanese at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies starting in Autumn! And then I will search for a job... What does that yellow sign means at @8:11 ?? Tramway or train sign??

I grew up in a small town or suburb everyone close to me knows someone around me and they know me too, living in such a area is like having a big family 😂

My favorite kind of places, old areas fogotten by time but still being used. The place at 3:17 looks almost like straight out the 1950's or 1960's, the building itself.

I love seeing the roadside vending machines in rural areas of Japan. Do the residents use them late at night, if the machine is in walking distance of their house / apartment? Like say if they want a snack or drink at one in the morning.

@@TheJapanChannelDcom that’s very convenient tho. It reminds me of a house I passed by. It’s literally next to an old music store. They had a soda machine out front. I thought it was convenient for movie nights lol
