The stationary HF welding / RF welding machine Forsstrom XP (80-160) can weld with very small tools, down to one square centimetre, and is suitable for the manufacturing of products with many detailed welding steps. It is a free-arm HF welding machine, in the basic lay-out the machine has no welding table; instead it has two electrode arms that hold the material during the welding process. Welding table is an additional option, such as the unique software EMP developed by Forsstrom that gives you better control of the welding process. The XP machine is a perfect complement to a travelling HF welding machine.

looks like a glorified oster touch-a-matic bag sealer that seals freezer bags and food storage bags together.

@@mrburrbab5305 It's just very uncomfortable to watch, it's shot in a completely clinical, detached way. The man doesn't smile, he has no expression. The machine noises are all you hear. That's his whole life. Then there's a cut scene to the machine's "face," where all the buttons and levers are. It reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey when the scene would cut to Hal's all seeing eye with the whirring backround. This video could have been much shorter, and instead they decided to make very long, bleak shots with not very much happening. It's like filming the void of this man's life. Check out the movie Dogtooth to see what I'm talking about, how long minimalist shots can be very uncomfortable, and you'll see this video isn't far off from that level of surreal. The Tim and Eric Awesome show is another example of how a creative mind could twist this style of video into something very unsettling without too much work. I was also very stoned when I first watched this, but even sober I stand by my assessment.

@@mrburrbab5305 It's like it was made by a robot. It definitely doesn't take emotion into consideration at all, there were no attempts to make this interesting, and that stark level of honesty is just so uncommon. It might be a cultural thing that I'm just not used to. This is more like a commercial than anything else, if you had a gun to your head and had to put it in a box based on genre with other videos. And most commercials make an attempt to appeal to human emotion, but this is completely without that capitalist impulse, the desire to sell something, and instead just lets the product speak for itself. But it doesn't say anything, which is weird. And then it ends with a weird rendered image of the machine, and strange mechanical noises that are different from the constant humming throughout the whole video, which makes me wonder what is causing those noises. Because I just watched this machine operate for three minutes and it didn't make that noise the whole time, which means now it's doing something that I haven't witnessed. And I'll never know.
