omg I would have never thought this was a studio apt. I saw a photo of this kitchen island on Pinterest awhile ago and have used it as my future apartment inspiration. Now that I have my first apartment. I went on KZread to look for small apartment must haves and this popped up!

So glad I watched to the end, smaller cans is just smart. I always love it when one thing is two things, like your ottoman, similarly, I have a coffee table desk. It's so great for crafts and studying. Also, I keep just an empty sturdy plastic box in my car, for just in case you need an empty box. I find the stackable bins that have attached lids to be most useful, you can even use them for seating if you set them upside down. Thanks for the cute tips, have a nice day!

Wow absolutely amazed and thankful for your video on organizing small spaces. I have a clutter of nice good quality couches situated in a small space one bed studio. This couch clutter seemed too packed but by following your solution into compaction made me realize wasn’t as bad as I thought. Everything fit perfectly! Have a blessed day and you have a really really really nice smile btw ☺️ Take care and keep posting ideas you’re really good at it !

Oh this was a fun video. Behind the mirror/side of couch was so surprising! Lol and YES!! we bought a dining table at ikea that folds down into a very small space. Both sides open and it seats at least 6 people, and when closed it's like a side table. Recently it's served as our desk when we teach from home :) best and most favorite purchase that makes the use of our small space. I agree-- ikea has some gems haha 😆

I’m in a one bdrm 800 sq ft apartment. The rooms are, frankly, a little too big for me. (I’m a minimalist who has moved 30 times in 68 yrs.) However, the bathroom, and especially the kitchen, are very small. My best tips, besides utilizing vertical wall space, are to declutter initially (small bites, progress not perfection), and when I open a drawer, cabinet, or closet, I take (literally) five minutes to declutter (how many spatulas do I need?).

Hi, thanks for the video and the tips, appreciate both! You asked for advice on your plants: I noticed they are sitting directly below an air duct. They are probably getting too much direct heat/cold air and are temperature sensitive. Try putting succulents in that area instead of delicate ferny leaves. Move those to an area with more regulated temperatures and sunlight (if you can) I know we do what we can in tight spaces! Best of luck fellow Plant Mama! 🌿💚

Ooo this is a good question. I think having the clothes put away in a drawer or storage bins helps to prevent smells attaching to them. And running a fan when cooking.
