This is a really good game regardless of how many players there are. The only thing I wish they'd have done different would be to print the inside of the player screens with lists of actions for the tokens and for end of turns. The meeples, board and tokens are really great with nice artwork, then you have this bland inside of the screen to look at all game.

Played at 4p once. Enjoyed it but I love area control and the programming aspect. The tokens remind me of the action tokens in Forbidden Stars. Holding onto it for now.

Community, can anyone shed light into this one? I ordered this game months ago, but the publisher has been very quiet on tracking info or updates to when this will ship/deliver. I've reached out through email and through company FB messenger. No one has opened my messages, and it's been months!

There was another Kickstarter for an expansion which adds another area, specialized troops and I believe a 5th player. Love this game and excited for the new content.

Sort of reminds me of Joraku (area control + trick taking) set in Japan. This one is (area control + worker placement).

@@mattbradshaw7007 I never played this one. But area control + trick taking seems more nuanced and my copy of Joraku is more compact on the table so I would never seek this game out.

@@Poiuytrew.Q I’ve wanted a copy of Joraku for a while anyhow, I’ll just stick to that.

Wait I missed Chris’s thoughts on higher player counts 😢 In other news… I think this would sing in a home brew of the first half only

Looking forward to getting my copy of this. I wonder if this is for fans of the Game of Thrones Board Game like I am. I really loved that hidden programming bit. Thanks for the review!

I backed the kick stater so was hoping for a better overall score. But as always appreciate the honesty. I hope the solo mode works well in the expansion in case people don't like it!

Oh, ouch, Chris, you put the map upside down. While the map is technically vertical, the Japanese spit their country into East and West, which is opposite of what you did. East is South and West is North.
