▶ABOUT NAMI NO KURASHI
I'm Nami, an office worker living alone in Tokyo.
The Japanese pronunciation "Nami" has several meanings.
One Nami is a girl's name, and the other Nami means ordinary.
Naminokurashi(Nami's life) is a combination of these two meanings.
Kurashi means daily life.
I don't have any special skills. My life is ordinary days.
I hope you enjoy my ordinary days!

Nami you are such an inspiration. I really respect how organized & clean you live. I would sure like to learn to cook the food you prepare. 😋 Not only are you an accomplished cook, you make it so beautifully to serve...YOURSELF. I look forward to your videos. No to figure out how to make Japanese cuisine. Another thing..where did you purchase your cookware? You have many things I'd like to also purchase. I like how you rearranged things also. I'll be getting the stripes you used to hide the wires...excellent idea. God Bless 🙌 🇺🇸💖

Or maybe he just doesn’t realize it’s loud enough to bother his neighbors. She wouldn’t have to make a nasty complaint about it, but maybe just let him know that it’s easily heard through the walls. I can’t tell if I’m watching tv too loud sometimes and it bothers my husband in another room. He just lets me know and I either use headphones or adjust the sound level. I do the same for him and it makes us very considerate of each other’s comfort.

I had a college professor in the '60s, before Martha Stewart and I had to return a book to her house and found her alone eating a gourmet meal on fine China and candles on the dinning room table. She told me she ate alone every night like that. I had to laugh as I'd never bother.

@@MsDebbieTwisted Yes and no - "night" as in up to 22:00 is totally fine here, after that you should calm everything down. As I understood the guitar playing did not occur in the middle of the night, but just in her bedtime which of seemed not too late, but maybe I assumed wrongly. In that case I would still not report him to management, just knock on his door and let him know it is too loud. We are all just humans and sometimes not aware of something.

@@svenjamd1119 walls in Japan are actually pretty thin, I stayed over at my aunts for a week over at Japan and couldn't believe how thin they were, you can hear all sorts of noises from people talking to the taps running. she probably found it annoying hearing someone play the guitar but didn't want to involve herself by not contacting the management since that'd be a bit too harsh.

@@svenjamd1119 Each country still has its customs. As someone who plays instruments, I can totally understand that it can get annoying to hear someone practice, specifically at night. If the neighbor was playing at 11pm and she had to wake up early the next morning, it's normal to be bothered by it, if just a little. In the end, she chose not to contact the management anyway.

I just found your channel yesterday and I am in awe! Your apartment is adorable and I love every single thing you’ve done with it. Your organizational abilities are truly amazing and I’m so envious of all the cool products that you are able to buy in Japan that I’ve never seen here in the US. Most amazing are your cooking skills. Did you train as a chef? I have never seen any of my friends, who are really good cooks, chop and create dishes the way that you do. And how do you eat so much food… You’re so slim I would weigh 1000 pounds if I ate what you ate… LOL. I love your content and you now have a subscriber for life! 💜💜💜

I like the new arrangement of your room. Must feel new and refreshing. I'm glad you did the recipe with zucchini (we call them courgettes in England) as I have grown loads this year and need ideas. I never new home made mozzarella was that easy to make either, thank you.

Everything was so nice, especially the gourmet dinner, as I love to cook also. And I have cooked wonderful dinners for myself as a treat! And the change in furniture was great to watch also. Sometimes when I don’t want to use my brain, I still enjoy when others use their brains, especially when you were separating and organizing all the cords!

I absolutely love the meals you prepare. It's inspiring, only problem I have, I live in the US and I grew up on fried foods and pizza 😅. So it's a little tough to find vegetables everyone will enjoy. But I guess that's the fun part of just cooking. I like the new furniture arrangements, it's refreshing. Your walks are so beautiful, and peaceful. Also inspiring

Hi Nami! Your room feels now through the screen somehow so much more spacious. I love your living space, even though small it's well organized. I'm awful at organizing things and all of that with what you did with wires I would have never figured out. You teach me a lot of new things. ❤ Take care.
