Funny that I have completed all of those projects over the past 6 months for craft fairs. They are so much fun to do! I am 54 and disabled and they are Fun and easy! Sealing the book marks does not negatively effect them at all.

Does the sealer diminish the shine on the coasters and is that varnish heat resistant?

Hi Kate! I do not find that the Varithane gloss diminishes the shine on the coasters. Regarding the heat resistance - I am not sure. I have put hot drinks (like coffee) on them and they're fine so far. I tried looking up the manufacturers info and could not find a clear cut answer on that except for it does say that it poses a hazard in extreme heat so it would not be something you could put in the microwave. Hi Cheryl! In this case I was lucky enough to have the chains and other parts included in the kit that was sent by the company so I am not sure what the other parts are called, I apologize. However, I can do another video in the future showing how to connect all the parts 😊😊

Why not use the sealers that are actually made for the Diamond Art? Or is it that you just didn't have any?

What is the most popular gift you've done for people? Which did you like best doing out of the coasters, suncatchers, and bookmarks? I want to do a few things and give them Christmas gifts.

Hi Jeanine - I am so sorry for my delayed response! I found that the more practical items seem to be more popular for gifts (i.e. things people can use). I honestly think the bookmarks were my favorite to make and I paired them with gift certificates to the Book of the Month club. Thank you for watching and commenting!
