I really recommend adding a set of the Knipex Cobra XS to your kit of small pliers. The are small, but extremely well made and very versatile for a small size but larger jaw opening potential.

I really like hakko. They're made for us electronics nerds. Many large manufacturers (klein) relabel their precision pliers and flush cutters.

Yes indeed, and yes hakko seems like a good brand but I've never owned any of their products.

Cafus thx have a question Sir. What does 1PK on a plier mean? I ordered a 1PK 104 E flat nose but noticed there's another with 1PK 102 D that looks the same but are higher price. Am a jewellery maker not familiar with precision terms or machinery per se but would love to learn tried Googling did not pull up adequate explanations I could follow. You use easy to follow everyday English. As Indian whose third language is English you are easy to follow. Will you help me understand my tool please? What am I paying for? Shd I hve bought the 102 D pros kit? I chose the lower priced 104 E of the 1PK series.

Make sure you get the German or Spanish made Hemostats and not the ones made in Pakistan.

I have several pairs that were used in the operating room and I still own several pairs and scissors. Don’t see a single thing wrong with them. I love them!
