Small greek island of Agistri
The small greek island of Agistri is a place exclusively for relaxation, only an hour away from Athens. Agistri in ancient times was called ''Kekrifalia'', meaning decorated head, due to a combination of the blue crystal clear sea water, the green pine trees and the blue sky.

The place is AMAZING! I was snob to those so closed to Athens islands and my company planned a short trip to Agistri island. I'm telling you... seriously... that small island JUST 40 MINUTES AWAY from Athens looks and feels like a long distance island in deep Aegean Sea! I don't know how I never been there before, all my life so far (49 years)!!! But I'm telling you: THIS ISLAND will be my DEFAULT place for easy-peeking summer vacations targets!
I playing with my band on agistri island in August 1988. A Part of the cover band has flown and three guys (myself too) drove the equipement 2430 km with the old Ford Transit Transporter from Rüsselsheim (near Frankfurt/Main) through the former Yugoslavia to Athen. Young people can not imagine how difficult it was to cross so many borders in Europe with all this expensive equipment (For that reason alone I love the European Union of today). I had the most beautiful girl of the island there. We were the heroes of the island back then. very painful was the farewell to this dream woman. She stood at the jetty and waved for a long time afterwards. I was just too stupid then. P.S. These were exactly the days when the plane catastrophe on the flightshow was in Ramsstein.

Люблю Грецию! Самое лучшее место для отдыха. Климат и средиземорская еда, фрукты, апельсины круглый год! Классно!
