There are a lot of people who confuse being original with being inspired. I had several situations where it was actual business owners who were in my circle taking my ideas and even to this day. So I just move extra silent now. A quote that has helped me to not be as upset anymore by Coco Chanel is “If you want to be original, be ready to be copied”.

With the tissue paper, I’ve seen people use a stamp with their design/log on it and just stop it over the tissue paper. It’s cheap and easy and makes your tissue people branded without really having to pay more.

I am so sorry you are going through that. I have just recently found your vlogs and have really enjoyed them. I think I already would notice that it was you if I saw clips from yours on someone else's. A little suggestion would be to always put your logo or an identifier continuously on your videos as they play. I noticed that people usually put them in the right hand corner. It may help with people being able to steal your content. Keep being you!

I did that recently. I ordered some bubble mailers because they were cheaper and it said they were the same brand but they were cheaper quality. I should’ve ordered from the place I normally order from. And I ordered twice as many as usual so now I have 1000 and that’s going to take me forever to use.

I think this is the one I just saw - it’s a blatant copy the packaging the logs even the videos . I understand being inspired but to copy outright like that is just plain wrong

I’m a small business owner in this community and I think for me, I don’t care when ppl copy me bc they don’t have my audience. They have their own. There’s BILLIONS of ppl in this world and I’m so focused on what I’m doing my followers have to tell me what ppl are doing lol.

I adore your vlogs 💖 I am so sorry you're experiencing the content copying etc. I know it won't really help but it happens in loads of industries sadly. I like the rose gold and as for the branded tissue paper, no you dont need it. The plain pink is simple and classy 💗

Yeah I found the channel and it’s almost identical. It must be annoying to be copied like this… but I just kindly commented that she’s doing good but to be more original because it’ll get her farther. I think she saw your success and figured if it isn’t broken don’t fix it lol but instead of being rude I tried to encourage her to be more unique so if people are buying from her it’s because they like her products and not just because it’s a cheaper version of yours! You didn’t invent certain things but it doesn’t mean you should be copied 😊

I’m gonna say something, and it might cause a lil’ bit of upset but here goes… Even before you blew up, I’d seen designs very similar to yours everywhere. Artists take inspiration from other artists. Like, I don’t mean this to be hateful or rude or anything, but I’ve seen the clips you sell on other websites (long time ago, too). I’ve also seen plastic milk cartons with various cow print all over there (even pastel - especially pink bc people love strawberry milk). I’d seen flower designs done by creators at least 2+ years ago that were pretty similar. Also, once again, I’m not trying to be hateful when I say this, but your designs are a bit more on the simple side. I mean this is in a good way, as one of my favorite ways to create are more simplistic and nostalgic designs that remind me of my childhood. So the very fact that they’re a bit on the simpler side means the following two things: 1. Someone has pretty much guaranteed to have the same ideas and therefore creations in the past. 2. When people want to do simpler designs like ours, it’s a lot easier to look like someone “copied” rather than being “inspired by” our work. Just some food for thought… Once again, I mean no hate to you or anyone else here. I, too, have had works stolen from me before. I also have had works that I believe were stolen, but it turns out that we just ran in the same circles and therefore similar sources of inspiration. 💗💗💗 Love, prayers, hugs, good vibes, and good wishes to you, your family, your friends, and your business~ XOXO✨✨✨

No I totally understand and agree with you 100% ! Similar designs are literally everywhere and that’s totally okay it’s almost impossible to be completely original. My take was more about people literally stealing my content & pretending it’s their own or other business owners stealing my product descriptions, which isn’t okay! But I totally agree with you and where you’re coming from ❤️❤️

With regards of the tissue wrapping, custom made looks prettier with your logo and brand printed on it. But i think it's luxury. Not all people recycle it, most customer will throw it away.

The thing about it is if you are referring to something from someone at least give them credit for it ya know....we all make a sell alot of the same things....and we all kinda have the same style with packaging and so on but it should reflect our own branding...

Someone stole my Etsy shop listings pictures, after I sent her a message she just said Ok and block me, now I’m not able to see her shop and don’t know if she still is using my pictures. I know how you feel.

Trademark your brand and your videos. I don’t even know what ASMR means. This is what I am doing. Trademarking is pricy however, it’s worth it. I am so sorry that happened to you it’s happening a lot lately. This is what I am doing before I get on KZread to start my business.,
