I buy food items at Dollar Tree to make homeless bags: washcloths,tuna or chicken snacks,peanut butter cups,applesauce,nuts,crackers and other small items placed in gallon baggie. Also quarters for laundermat or fast food. I have been doing this with my granddaughters six and four , they enjoy placing items in baggies. A lesson in giving. Thanks for all your great dollar tree information and I love your peppy personality. You are a light shine on!

Best tip....declutter before you buy any organization bins, baskets etc. So, you know exactly what needs to be organized. I always see people buying containers first.

Organizing is not my mom’s favorite thing to do, and I love it. Over a year ago, I put the small bins with poster tack on the bottom in the drawers of the bathroom that my brother and I share. We each have one with only our toothbrushes and toothpaste, plus an extra square bin in the back with extra floss and such. The system works so well that it’s even 13 year old boy proof!

Does anyone else just click like as soon as you start up these videos? Love!

Maybe you could do a video like a challenge video? Maybe you and a friend can exchange some random stuff that you need to declutter from your houses, put it in a box. Switch! And each one of you can see what DIY’s you can make with it!!

I would really love to see you decorate/organize an ugly apartment where not many things can be changed and make it beautiful!

I totally agree! Our apartment is around 650 sq ft and it's very oddly built. 1/1 with a "walk in closet," a "storage closet," and a "dining area" which none of those actually have room for what they're called. We also have no drawers in our small bathroom and have to have one of those "over the toilet organizers" that is too shallow for actual storage bins and it's so frustrating!

"Did you eat my lipstick" ..... "Noooooo" 😂So cute! I've loved watching your boys grow up!

I love that everyone has their own toothbrush space . I prefer that my toothbrush not mingle with others or be out in the open. I always have too much of everything so, yeah it's a problem

You have gave me an inspiration so much lately. You helped me to wake up and has helped me to get out of depression.. My house is brighten up. Even has my spirit to dress up nice. Just in my house. My big sister just past away 1 week 3 days ago. Last month before she passed away. I've chatted with Mary. Of your ideas.. Never have money. Well money I set aside. It's made me finally realize. I just need to come alive again.. You gave me insperation of a long deaths. I went down for years. But my sister and you. Brought me back to me. To be me.. This house is brightened up my home and spirit. Even my hubby finally said( wow.. Sorry hun.. I should have shut up let u do it all in home) it's even has him helping me get house finally lighting it up.. He helps me so much. Not just cause of health. It's inspired him. My house is starting to come alive... Woohoo. Girl.. I'm 60 and feel like 45.. Once again. Thank you for being real.. OPEN. And that 😃 smile.. You've help me to be me again... Thank you

It's CRAZY how much stuff we have and don't use. Last time I went through my bathroom I went really cut throat and everything I hadn't used in 3 months, I got rid of! It was great and I actually haven't missed ANY of it! So get rid of all the stuff you don't need!!!

That bathroom is enormous compared to mine!

I was just going to say that. The previous owners of my house removed the only closet in the house so as to add about a foot and a half to the bathroom. If you sit on the toilet your knees knock the sink. I can't bathe my dog in the tub because she's convinced there isn't room enough between the toilet and sink for her to squeeze through. The room also has three medicine cabinets (two inside the walls, one hanging on the wall). It's the only storage in the room.

Yeah mine is so tiny the toilet, sink and then the short end of the tub are all directly next to each other in my house. Like, barely enough room to clean between the sink and the tub! So annoying!!! I can only store cleaning products under the sink but luckily I have a pretty big linen closet in the hall. But still stealing some of these ideas!!!

Our small bathrooms have zero drawers I wish someone would do a real small bathroom or a real small kitchen. With a family of 5 and no organizational skills...I need help from more accurate versions of SMALL spaces lol. We live in 950 square feet, think Cottage lol

Norma Hernandez I put shoe holders on the inside doors of my bedroom closet and it has been awesome for us! My husband keeps undershirts in his I keep an array or items from feminine hygiene products to laundry bags.

I went on a mini-tour or Dollar Tree Stores in my area looking for all these cool things. After visiting 5 different Dollar Trees (I wish I was kidding!!) I couldn't find everything, but I made a great start.

I am a Mom to 12! Blended family. While I was pretty organized prior to our current marriage, it has been so hard to get organized with all 14 of us in the house. Granted this has been during the pandemic while schooling everyone from home for a good chunk of time. I am loving these ideas! I hadn't thought to cut down an old shoe organizer! Thank you!

Me too! I use small plastic drawers but it’s just not the same as regular ones. And my door openings aren’t very wide.

My sewing room needs help. It is really a corner in the dining room that is never used. It is my father-in-law’s home, we are temporarily staying with him (he has dementia and change causes too much confusion) so I cannot really change it. It is the storage and organization of my sewing items that is what is needed. If you can help it would be great. Thank you. You are such a joy to watch. I travel a lot and also do my makeup in the car, so I find its helpful to keep my makeup essentials in a travel bag with a zipper in my drawer so its always ready to go!

I LOVE the item that you called a card organizer! You can use one for a deck of cards, but also a bar of soap, earrings, Q-tips, makeup, lots of things! And that you can click them closed and they stay closed is perfect. You can also use them for wrapping small presents too. I always buy a few each time I go because I know that I'll always find a use for them.
