SM Megamall Redevelopment Project
SM Megamall's major renovations will tapped the international architectural firm Benoy. That's the same group behind Jewel Changi and ION Orchard in Singapore as well as ICONSIAM in Thailand. For their plans, they took inspiration from the concept of the Philippines as a "country of a thousand islands," which was then interpreted as a "Crystal Islands" aesthetic for the interiors and exteriors of the mall.
They'll have more retail space, an indoor garden, and updated cinemas.
With a tropical oasis as their main influence, you can expect nature-inspired designs with open spaces dotted with greenery, wider halls, and higher ceilings. They take it to the next level-literally-on the fifth floor. It'll have a specific roofing system that allows more natural light to enter the air-conditioned garden they're setting up. It'll also have tables and chairs for cozy coffee nooks.
The redevelopment, of course, isn't just about the look. They're also adding 20,000 square meters of space that can be used for retail stores and restaurants. And in line with that, they'll also be adding over 1,000 additional parking slots to the mall.
the new shopping and dining options, it only makes sense that they're also adding updated cinemas into the mix. They'll have seven cinemas, two Director's Club theaters, and and a large-format cinema that's perfect for special events and exclusive screenings.

sana isabay na rin ng SM yung napurnadang EDSA Carousel station na supposedly, years ago pa nagsimula.

Ang kulang lang sa palibot ng sm mega mall entrances ay yung malawak na ramps para sa PWD. Dapat coonected na ang footbridges papasok sa sm with elevators

aside from the redevelopment project of SM Megamall, the SM Supermalls in Metro Manila such as SM North EDSA, SM City Fairview, SM City Manila, SM City Sucat, SM City Bicutan, SM City BF Paranaque will have a major renovation with the 2022 SM Logo to be installed. The proposed SM City Manila Annex is located at the old GSIS building.

What about SM Southmall, the forgotten of the Original Big 4 in Metro Manila(SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, SM Megamall), does it have a Plans for it’s Renovation or Redevelopment?

@@romeocivilino6667 to redevelop while the 2022 SM logo will replace the 2010 Circle SM Logo in the facades of existing SM malls nationwide. the City Center of SM North EDSA would extend to five levels, while main mall would open more tenants at 4th and 5th level plus football field with grandstand at the top
Dapat may moa din sa province para may 2nd branch na at medyo mas Malaki sana
New design yung walang mga corner or sharp edges at di na uso ang mga square, kasi sa chinese feng sui dapat soft edges dapat parang free flowing ang chi at walang mga sharp corners, gagawin na syang tulad ng sa podium
Parang mali naman ung info na alam ng nag vlog na tu, sa SM MEGAMALL po ako nag wowork, sm admin... Mali ata nakalap mong info, kasi tatayuan na yan ng 30 floors na mag tatapos ang renovation ng building A ng 2030. Dahil gagawin ng 8 floors ang mall the rest condo units po. After ng building A, building B naman ang isusunod
