@Zoya Hussain Yes. I agree. Like you said you would do anything for friends who you consider an equal. An equal as in you respect them or relate to them? That's what I meant Slytherin have strong friendships because they relate ( in principles or ideas..) to each other. Apart from friends and family, the Slytherin house ,as a whole, is a tight batch because it shares a belief.

Slytherins fought in Hogwarts Battle, although the movie had shown the opposite. Many slytherins were sons of Death Eaters, so thats why some of them didn't fight. Despite this fact, Professor Slughorn went to Hogsmead and organized a group made of slytherins who intend to fight and villagers of Hogsmead. So, there were slytherins in both sides, and I understand those who stayed with their families, but it's unfair to say Slytherins didnt fight for Hogwarts, that's a bullshit from the movies just to make an impact scene for McGonagall and to flatter Gryffindor fans.

Thanks for this! When I took the Pottermore test and got my answer of Slytherin, I didn’t WANT to be in Slytherin because I assumed Slytherin was evil and I was not evil so I had to be in Gryffindor or something, right? Now I’ve come to accept it and I am prideful of who I am. Gryffindors get all the attention and Slytherins are evil. It’s just the way it’s been made. And I hate that.

Everyone thinks Slytherin are evil... but in reality, I don't know how else to say this but... we're not. Some of the best wizards and witches were in Slytherin - Merlin for example, and we follow along in their footsteps. We represent the serpent, which stands for rebirth. We are cunning, resourceful, and have excellent leadership skills. Many dwell off of many pureblood families, even though some of us are muggle born or half blooded, we are all family. Because we are Slytherins.

We’re just misunderstood, often we just come from horrible backgrounds. Most of us are pure bloods and we have grown up, and been raised a certain way. And i mean, sure, there are some pretty evil guys too but everyone isn’t the same. Yes, slytherins will do what it takes to reach our goals and we should be able to admit that. We often know exactly what we want and we’re not afraid to do things that others would call “evil” or “unorthodox” because that’s who we are. People who say we’re evil are just jealous that they’re not as confident as slytherins who’s able to admit that we know exactly what we want and we would be willing to achieve that by any means necessary. So no. We’re not evil, we’re resourceful and clever and competitive, and we are who we are. No one will ever be able to say that all slytherins are the same. You’re very welcome btw. Toodles😉

the first time i took the pottermore test, i got slytherin houses. it happened in 2015, i was 12 at the time, i didn't like it because i thought slytherin was all evil. and i took the test again in the wizarding world (which was pottermore) in 2019, and i still got slytherin. the difference is now i feel so proud, i'm a slytherin and i'm proud of that. i didn't know anything about my own houses back then, but now i know. i really like it, and the fact that i took the test twice and still got slytherin is make me realize that this is just me. i'm a slytherin, and no one can change that.

Slytherin. The ones who never had a choice. As soon as your put into the house.. Your suddenly feared. Your evil. Your.. Misunderstood. We never HAD to choice to be bad or good. I love this video because it makes me feel so good about myself, because in every Harry Potter book, Slytherins are judged as bad and ruthless. Well I think this makes us even more angry and Slytherins and not to forget that the world we live in is wild and harsh and this video makes me feel like all Slytherins are united and shout that we are not like that as you judge us and that we too have a heart and feelings.
