This week we visit the SlurryKat factory! Garth talks us through how the business has developed, their manufacturing processes and how they plan to take their brand to the next level with their new R&D facility!
GRASSMEN are the fast-paced, global agriculture phenomenon whose video content and merchandise are recognised worldwide. The business was started in 2009 by current director Gareth Gault, known to fans as ‘Donkey’. His love and passion for machinery allowed him to experiment with cameras and upload content to KZread. To his surprise, a large following soon developed and the niche in the market for real-life, documentary, farming and machinery action made it possible to drive the brand forward.
We at GRASSMEN, pride ourselves on providing an exclusive look into agricultural manufacturers, meeting real, working farmers, showing and demonstrating farming machinery through all seasons such as silage and slurry, and ultimately educating and entertaining our fans.

One of the things that strikes us about these guys is the fact they are contractors as well. They have an understanding of the job in hand!

@@Grassmen It’s always very evident when you’re talking to suppliers when they’ve been there and done that at the customer and user side of it. Garth is really on top of his game and is adopting significant advanced technology. It’s a forward looking enterprise and a great video from Grassmen.

Glad you enjoyed it. Poo is becoming such a valuable asset now on farms and farmers need companies like this pushing forward to get the best value out of this.

It does! They like any company will have had their issues but the real strength of any company comes from how these things are resolved. Its great to see!

At some point could you go see a firm called humac engineering, there trailers seem to be good value for money, they are in Ireland, I’m in the uk, so it would be interesting, I think your pretty near as well so if it’s ideal it’s an idea.
