I have this model and it is truly keyless in so far as you don't need to press any buttons or even get the fob out of your pocket, just walk up to the bike, press the dial to illuminate it and wake up the system, turn the dial to on and hit the starter. The button on the fob is only for manual locking if you're near the bike but want it locked as it has a range of around 2 meters. Locking is just as easy, turn the dial to lock the steering and walk away, the indicators flash to tell you it's locked, once the key is out of range the dial will just spin freely if anyone tries to turn it. It's brilliantly convenient.

What happened if the control works but the bike doesn’t unblock?

seems honda have "solved" a problem that doesnt exist - when it becomes faulty - and it will, then what ?

You get security codes with the bike. So if you lose or faulty key. You put the codes in to start the bike.

What's the nonsense with more and more electronics in cheap scooters? Today, starting a motorcycle requires a degree or reading the manual twice. I want to start the motorcycle in 2 seconds or open the seat or the top case. Drivers are increasingly reporting malfunctions, problems with an empty vehicle battery (then the seat only opens with an emergency key). Basic functions should remain basic functions. Please stop with the increasing digitization. This is not a €20,000 vehicle for hipsters

Agree, when I park my sh300 in my garage I always unlock the seat and put a rag over the lock so it cant happen. Also fitted a charge lead that is in the storage compartment. Yes the battery does drain, I have to investigate this. Never had any battery problems with my sh125 that has a key battery is now 9 years old and always starts. Not a fan of keyless ignition at all.

It is a very stupid and useless feature
