Glad the Slug Halos seem to be working for you so far, Helen! Hope the people who have rented the allotments show up and start gardening soon! Too funny about your phone! 😂 I usually have a purple cover (which works great!), but this last time I got a "rose gold" one - big mistake! it blends right in to everything. 🤔☺️

Yes , with most of the hearing gone in my right ear I no longer have stereo hearing so I can't pinpoint where a sound is coming from! My husband does find it amusing to watch me trying to locate my phone!

I feel your pain Helen it has been October here for weeks 😢. Could actually be too hot by weekend no wonder everything is bolting 🤦♀️. Slug halos look fab but they cost a fortune here as everything does 🤬. Flowers are stunning, have a great week, Ali 🌧️🌧️🇨🇦

I know from my big sister that lives near Calgary just how expensive stuff is, I thought because of all the space/ land compared to England that food would be cheaper, but It doesn't look like that!

The new slug pellets make the slugs crawl away before they die so you'll not see any dead slugs. Following the progress of the halos with interest. Like the Rosy dress, it matches your roses (or is it the other way around).

Well I’ve never seen slug halos before, but your trial would suggest they work! I do admire your work ethic Helen, even when you finally sit down you’re filming! A week of good weather ahead - enjoy!

Just chuck some in and hope for the best, the slugs keep destroying everything so I just keep sowing, I often ignore the rules and just hope for the best.

I originally saw these slug Halos on a channel called what vivi did next, her plot neighbour lent her a few, but as I said it's my first time trying them so well see how they do.
