My friend played first. He is 6'7'' and had a 15" first baseman mitt. Thing was half a cow. We called it angus. I have used the same 13" Wilson since I was in Jr high (in my 40s now) and retired it last year for another 13" this time a worth. I will use it some times but picked up a Rawlings 14" this year. I mostly play outfield or catch when my leg is hurt. Loved that Wilson.

I bought a 13" Rawlings GG series pro softball glove like 17 years ago. Hardest glove break in ever. Stopped playing about 12 years ago. Now that kids play softball. I use now more than ever. Favorite glove to play catch with. Still going strong.

Starting from the top here. Shoes, I have been using Under Armour lacross turfs for turf fields, and New Balance 4040 TPU cleats on dirt. Im gonna move my Under Armour lacrosse turfs to my dirt bag, and for a new set of Under Armour yard turfs for turf fields. Batting gloves- i love thin batting gloves. I have a couple pairs of the Spiderz Lite gloves that are surviving, but they arent made anymore, so once those die, im hosed. Bats I love Eastons. Where i play we have been able to stay swinging the 220s, and easton 220s are ridiculously hot. I dont use pine tar or spray, but the Vuk grip, or 3M grip, makes spray or tar unneeded. Glove, I play 1B and C usually, and have a Vinci 1B glove (JBV04) and an Easton El Jefe 14 inch for when I am playing C. Bigger gloves help me out with a bigger pocket.

Left handed thrower and 2 in the pinky. I use a 12.75 a2k for outfield and have an 11.75 44 for infield. Got a custom 11.75 a2000 this year. Absolutely hate big gloves for softball. Have way too many bats though. Big variety of weights and brands. Only have ever bought 2 brand new bats though. Play it again is huge if you have one to check out.

15 inch glove in the outfield. If broken in properly the ball just funnels into the pocket. I personally play a 13.5 for the infield

I’ve played high level softball for 15 years. Meaning upper level tourneys. And I’m telling you that no higher level player uses anything smaller than 13. And that’s infield. I’ve seen as high as 15. Almost all outfielders use 13.5-15. Most using 14. That’s what I use. 14”

part of that is also probably because the ball gets smoked so hard the priority is to just get it in the glove versus a quick transfer

Yeah so you guys are huge and that is part of why going bigger works. My argument would be that there is such thing is too big for guys who are average dudes. In the end you gotta use what’s comfortable and when you’re catching 120mph line drives I bet 13.5” is more comfortable at short lol

I play Senior Softball and you see all kinds of gloves out there at the tourneys. Rawlings, Wilson’s, 44’s, Marucci’s, Easton’s, and Mizuno’s. I actually go old school and play with a vintage Louisville Slugger 125 Series, G125-2C(13.25) for infield and a Louisville Slugger TPS GTPS5(13.50) in the outfield. Both closed webs. Very well made Japanese gloves. The leather is not stout as an A2000 or HOH but I love the feel of them. Very good quality leather. A comparison in leather and quality would be the Rawlings SG series of gloves in the 80’s. Keep up the great work on the videos, really enjoy them!

I personally have both the sanchez and the axe avenge pro flared and both are ridiculous bats. Sanchez is a little more forgiving i mean barely but the axe is definitely hotter on sweet spot. Just ordered one of the nex axe infernos and im looking forward to swinging it. Their insane! I play tournament ball and i use a 13" for both infield and outfield, though im usually at MM, 3rd or 2nd and im about to order a 13.5(torn between ordering a 44 custom and an A2000) and my current glove will become my backup. Going up in size is mainly because of when im at 3rd or OF.

Hey, so this question kinda pertains to your "44 Pro Baseball Gloves [BEFORE YOU BUY]" video you made a couple years back: I was wondering what size did you get your blonde "gamer from last year" for slow pitch in? I have a perfect a2000 for baseball but recently joined a slow pitch softball league and want to make sure I get a glove that can handle a softball with a med-deep pocket while still giving me the ability to make swift transfers (so maybe some stiffer webbing?). I kind of want to customize one of 44's gloves because~why not~, BUT I also used to be a college ball player and definitely do care about quality. Never have owned a 44. For softball though, is their glove quality and durability on par with Rawlings and Wilson? Any recs? Also have you experimented with different webs for your softball gloves enough to give a recommendation? I would really appreciate your expert opinion. Thanks
